Hello, Apologies if this has already been asked/answered, I did a search and found nothing relevant. Anyhow, is there any way to suppress the constant barrage of news popups about mining bases changing ownership, planets defecting etc. It gets frustrating in large games having to click through 6-8 of them every turn. I've tried every option I can find about popups in the options menu but still can't stop them.

Twilight of the Arnor crashes frequently on my Vista 64 system. It happens mainly when I click Turn. Below is my debug.err. I am using the latest 178.24 drivers from Nvidia. I've seen this posted as a result of old drivers but it appears the bug is back.... Debug Message: Version v1.96 Twilight of the Arnor last updated on: Tue Jun 24 17:37:47 2008 Debug Message: Could not query reg key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE\Stardock\Compon
A suggestion: A governor for asteroid mining bases. It would be great to be able to reassign them all to a single planet to help it get that capital ship out in time, or to give a remote world the manufacturing boost it needs to get that super project built. Right now there appears to be no pattern to how they are assigned after they are built and it is excruciating to micromanage them on a large map.
I can consistently get the game to crash to desktop by having all my colonies pump out constructors and send them to a rally point on top of a resource. the first one gets there and appears to build a starbase but if you click it you get a constructor and a blank square show up, and when the next constructor arrives the game crashes. I've emailed my debug.err along with this message.
