I am fairly sure that the library was inside my influence before I started construction, but that was 200+ turns ago so I could be mistaken.

I hope he at least patches the game when day 0 comes out tomorrow. I dont agree with alot of what he said in the Dragon Age Diary but it was still a good read.
I have found out that your character needs to be outside of the a city to cast any strategic spells.
I just noticed that a lost library I got fairly early in the game is not providing me with the research bonus. I dont think it has ever been contributing to my research but I did not notice it till turn over turn 200. I uploaded my save to FileBin for you to take a look at the Lost Library east of the center of my city Ararati. http://filebin.ca/qabozc/LostLibaryBug.EleSav

I have a surplus of resources but very little gold (my level 2 city is making about 2.4 gold every turn).
I wanted to wait a bit to purchase the game, at least till after the day 0 patch. However I just could not stop myself last night. I got it installed and played it for about 3 hrs before I realized the time and the fact my body started shaking due to lack of sleep. I cant wait to start playing today but I got some IRL things to do first. I do wish there was more of a tutorial, but I did kinda jump into the deep end by starting a sandbox game right away. I still dont know how to genera

I will make sure the developers are aware of your request for those keys to have actions assigned to them though as I don't think those keys are currently doing anything in Elemental.
Do you have to have num-lock off inorder to use the num pad to move the unit (so 2486 work as arrow keys instead of number keys)?</
There will be a "0 day" patch sometime on Tuesday (in America). I have no idea what it will and wont fix.
When I press Shift-Tab to bring up the Impulse menu (which is 10x nicer then Steam's btw) there is an option to log-in. When I enter my Impulse user name and password it will work for a bit then give me a "The request has timed out" error. The main reason I want to log in is so I dont show up as Guest_123 in the chat. Also, I noticed on the Impulse menu there is an Achievements button. Are there achievements for Elemental? I cant click the button because I cannot log-in.

CKorth: I have been trying to build a talent/ability calculator in Visual Basic since Demigod release but ran into some major logic proublems and trying to learn VB.Net from the ground up.
Quoting Freche, reply 3I have not used vent or teamspeak with demigod yet, but in my experience the sound is way better in teamspeak. That's not my experience. The codec ventrilo uses is much better than teamspeak's codec, allowing much truer sound decompression/sample rate ie. the voices you here over ventrilo are much truer to real life than the voices you here in TS. I was debaiting posting this but I might as well. For the past several days I have been programing a skill builder in Visual Basic. I'm almost ready to release the first version which will only have Rook's skills in. I am hopeing to release it by Friday depending on how RL goes. Once I have the logic for Rook bug free it will just be a matter of entering all the skill information for the other Demigods.
The tool tip for the skill says you can only have 2 towers up at once. So when you raise a third the first tower will be destroyed.
I'v been thinking about this for a few days now, so this morning I woke up and started teaching myself Visual Basic. I think I'v learned what I need to inorder to make it so tommrow I'll start the long process of actualy putting together the skill trees and skill data.

But actually, I'm quite in favor of the Eastern tradition where it's absolutely okay to be just good at ONE thing. I enjoy this game because it's not random, and frankly Random always ticks me off. We had this discussion during beta, and I still feel this game is stronger without the Random option.
I understand where you are comeing from bu
I just tested Demigod on my iZ3D monitor and it works perfectly! No UI focus issues. The iZ3D drivers appear to ingore the UI so it stays at a static depth no matter what you set convergence to. Wow...any other company and we would have had to wait at least a week to see any kind of update. Thanks!
Thanks for the update. I was shocked to see you guys rewrote the connection service in ~2 days. I look forward to your next update.
I have the iZ3D monitor which uses a completly diferent driver then the Nvidia 3D setup. I'll have to play around with DG in 3d tommrow and I'll report my findings.
Actualy I am finding the single player pantheon alot of fun. I am amazed how much I'v learned about how to play TB in just 5 matches. I plan on running it through with every DG to better understand how they all play. I also am trying each DG in skirmish so I can determin what side I want to join in the online pantheon. I'm allready hooked on the single player, I'm afraid what will happen once I start multi-player.

So I go back, pay 300g of a 1200g upgrade. Then 5min later me mate Dangerous Dave goes back and puts 900g, completing the purchase... Nice idea.
THIS. All the advantages of the OP's solution but without the pop-up spam.
Random things are good. I think the first random thing we need is the random DG selection. I want to learn how to use all the DGs vs all the DGs and it would be nice to do double random scenarios to get some experience.
I think we need to get a Wiki started, wither through wikia or Stardock sponsered one. Edit: Nevermind, there is one started at Wikia . I'll have to start contrubiting to it.
Ya, an over all objective would be nice. Right now it is set to attack the other citidel. It would be cool if we could assign one portal to attack flags and another portal to attack towers then defalt to attack citidel if there are no flags or portals to assult.
I'm assumeing those rules dont apply for single player (campagin or skirmish) because I had Reg on my side with TB in my campagin last night. Also: "for there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." - William Shakespeare </
