They aren't THAT ugly are they? Hell just compare them to the designs in the omega shipyards mod, all of our designs are just big steaming lumps of shit compared to those.

3) Or perhaps as an adaptive feature where the game sees the human player having an easy time and based on that, changes the difficulty. That would be cool, they did that in Max Payne, and that game rocked.

Boy do I hate the stupid AI, one the game i'm currently on I bribed the drengin to attack the terrans to spice up the game, and while I was watching the war I noticed that the terrans did not build a single military ship, only frieghter, constructors, and colony ships, while the drengin had massive fleets. Now i'm making and selling old ships to the terrans just so they have a fighting chance.

Thankfully it's a new dude that's new and not some guy beating the dead horse forum topic on adding multiplayer.

never get events! I hear so much about these cool events but I never get them. Way back before the patches when I was Universalists I got the Lucky Ranger event numerous times, but in over 10 full sandbox games I haven't gotten anything else. (No, that's not true, once I got the one where some civ's leader got assassinated and they blamed another civ - not mine - or somet

I HATE how you don't chose wich planet houses the prison, almost always it's a stupid little world with 4-5 tiles so the bonus is no good at all to that world.

You can already 'make demands'. Just propose a trade where you give them nothing, and they give you some money, techs, etc. If you have sufficient power and haven't made too many demands already, they'll do it. Yeah you can, in theory, make demand but does the AI ever comply, NO.

Man i'd love to play GalCiv2 with the super star destroyer, it's funny though that when I first saw it in the movie I thought it was some sort of mini star destroyer.

I did allright considering i am only 12! Dude it doesn't matter how old you are, I played M rated games when I was 5 and I look back and I did pretty good (escpecially considering they were horror games, still don't know why my ma thought they were appropriate for my age).

The best weapon tech to research are IMO missiles. That depends, if you evil the psyionic missle is the weakest of the psyonic weapons, if your evil and you research beam you get one of the most powerful weapons very early, but if your not evil yeah missles kick ass, even if they look like shit.

2) Farms. They should provide a small morale bonus. Better food makes happier people. Also means people will want to build farms. They need to do something to get people to research advancing farming tech- right now that's a tech that I never research. In the alternate reality mod (wich is one of the best mods in the library) one of the farming t

Good is not dumb. Yes it is, it's a quote from Spaceballs, and if Spaceballs is wrong then I don't want to be right.

I've just thought of a tactic for my next game, i'm gonna ally with one give them ships and techs, and use them as my little mercenaries to declare war on other civs I don't like, those little guys can give a civ a kick in the ass sometimes (onetime a minor sucsesfuly invaded several of my planets).

One military tactic I like to use is to build one strong point between my civ and the enemy, using one or more military starbases, if possible a fairly good manufacturing planet, and most of my fleet. It's nearly undefeateble so my enemys would be fool to attack, with that I use sensor equiped ships to patrol undefended areas between my civ and theirs, and kill any thing that gets close. I can then ravage the enemy as I want.

you just can't beat having multiple fronts, it really makes the AI seem that much smarter Also having muiltiple civs around you can help militarily if you have allies, if they help in wars they eliminate possible enemy attack fronts without any cost to you.

It also appears Arcean has a large infrustrucure, several civs have mentioned that they have built starbases to 'spread there influence'. I'm thinking if I can knock a few of those out as well, It'd hurt them. ericleader1View ericleader1's ProfileEmail ericleader1Find Posts By ericleader1 Don't pay attention to other civs say another civ has

I'm wondering, what the heck were the other civs doing the last million years (or however long they've been using space travel)?! In a few years the humans pretty much go from using shuttles and being able to go to the moon, to inventing a machine that would allow them to move halfway across the galaxy in a few months! The other civs have been traveling for a long time but have never advanced... lazy bums.
