Yeah it gets very annoying when i'm buying a tech and i'm giving them like 1000$ more than it costs.
Azrune
That happens to me a lot to, but I never care, just start the game up again.
I Just Got The Game & I Don't Even Play All That Great I Need Those Points Please Help Me. It's not like those points are gonna get ya anything, i've played the game for several months and never submitted a single game, if there's any reason to submitte game tell me.
Hell that's just a pathetic flea without a fleet, and if it's on a gigantic map with abundant planets then it's not gonna do a thing to its economy, send a fleet of frigates and get that of the bottom of your shoe.
What I like to do is research evil and pysionic beams so that it will be almost a waste of time for the AI to build defenses, then I reseach big into defense so the enemy's lesser weapons can't really do much to my ships, when I get the time, money, and territory to do so I build fleets of large and huge ships. At that point my ships will be pretty much undefeatable.
Shows that you don't have to be some paladin to win with an alliance.
Oh that would be awsome, i've always wanted to kill the ugly aliens and the annoying humans. I have an idea how about a GalCiv Battlefront, like the game Star Wars Battlefront, it would be cool to see massive battle between drengin and torians and the like.
As it says, it's not people born every week. It's people paying taxes. Legal immigration ftw! Azrune: Cloning? eh? droids? where? Still manual labour. Besides, where would they build more than one? They could, there's just no space. Well with cloning and robots, 200 years in the future i'm pretty sure they are gonna have that, look at all
I'm 13 and i'm about finished with the campaign on tough.
I saw that before, no idea I was like "what the hell".
Actually you mean para secs, moving 19 sectors would likley be moving halfway through a gigantic galaxy in one turn.
Respawning faster? that's like multiplying something by 0.
I always thought it was odd that I could sustain a tax rate of 80%. I could never get it any higher, though - for some reason, 81% freaked people out. 80% is the highest you can go without pissing off every person in you empire, the highest moral I ever heard was 9%, the usuall is 1%, but i'm curius what's with that 1%, do they love to pay taxes?
For the unimaginative people here who have no chance to play fairly and troll on the forums about how the AI cheats, they will cheese, and then in ever asked say "oh yeah, so easy, crap game". We already have enough reasons for idiots to whine. <TD
I'd like to see turrets, none of them would be anywere as powerful as standard weapons but you could put them on large or huge ships so they could fire at multiple enemy ships at once, it doesn't make sense that a battle ship with a half dozen phasers on it would just shoot enemy fighters one at a time when it could just blast an entire fleet in one fell swoop.
Well for one history has shown that the larger a representative government gets the more unstable it becomes. There are several examples throughout history that show this, so the reasoning that a loss of efficeintcy would only be expirienced by an Imperialist government is pretty dumb. On the contrary an Emperor would have far more control than a president ever could. Howe
If you're going for a military conquest or technology victory, this is probably the best thing to do; one advanced farm and one VR center per planet are all you need; bulk up on factories and/or research facilities on the rest of the planet. It's not the best thing, what I do is I just completley crush the enemy's entire fleet so I don't have to
Something like this is one thing in an RPG Makes me remeber Star Wars: KOTOR... ah the memories, using the force to scare an old guy so he actually COULDN'T talk even if he wanted to... ah it's good to be evil... because good is dumb. Also why the hell would you want to go for diplomatic victory, here's the easist way to win diplomatic,
Wow... how the hell does your economy support all those ships?!
What the hell are you talking about, I think you're on the wrong site, this is galciv2.com not galciv1.com dammit.
Dude you're a good writer, ducumenting and adding story to every turn is amazing.
What's your industrial capacity, and what's your spending on social and military production ( it's on the domestic stats screen)?
Alliance only activate if a civ declares on you (i think) So just surround their worlds with transports and theyll declare pretty quick. I meant either way, and besides they never help me, those stupid whinged rats from hell!
GCII has been one of the very few games in the last 5 years that really got me hooked. You're have to be kidding. You're saying that games like fable, San Andreas, Oblivion, any of the splinter cell or halo games didn't get you hooked?! Either you only like stategy games or PC's have very few great games. Speaking of awsome games Saints Row come
I want for the mass driver weapon not to look like shit, and for the firing to look different. Also I want a lot more random events and minor races, I used to love reading a new random event, and I want them to be more common and have much greater effects on the game. I also want your allys to actually help you in war, that's why your given the option to ally, dammit it's getting to the point that I don't ever ally anymore and then it ends up me against everyone!
