Of course. ;)
General Homsar
Nice. Are you going to do this for the entire game?
I don't mean to sound mean, but you be a little more specific?
Hey foxthree, are you going to release the ship styles by themselves, by any chance?
there will be more later, I promise. ;)
Evans surveyed the mess hall, spotting several of his crew. Their grey uniforms and polished black jackboots contrasted sharply with the Assyrians' and Skathalets' colorful armor.(Methesus, being Thalan, didn't wear a uniform, but Evans didn't hink about that.) Except for...he swallowed his bite of the strange Assryian fruit he was eating uncomfortably and averted his gaze from the two Skathalet guards on either side of Tendath. They were soldiers, so it stood to reason they wood have different
I'm still playing Civ3Conquest. lol. I am curious as how you would be able to play Civilization on console though. Wouldn't that be sort of frustrating?
Civ Revoloution is specially designed for consoles. BTW, does anyone know if it's coming out for PSP? It's on the DS, and I don't have one of those...
"Somewhere in space a Petunia said "Not again". Somewhere else in the universe - or maybe in a different universe alltogether - at the exact same time a Korath said "Not again!" too." I laughed out lous when I read that. :) "A Higher Power..." That would be you, I suppose?
AND I BLEW IT. ARRRRG. I got bogged down in a vicious fight with the thalans, and even though I had both treaties with the Korath, they declared war on me anyway (their military was 4x the combined militaries of all other races). To add the final nail in my coffin, the yor, who were #2 military, declared war on me in the same turn. sigh...
Ouch. Now that i think of it, every time I put the Thalans in a game, they become a superpower and usually go around killing
Thanks, but for my first 'Tough' game, i'll just have one opponent. :p
no offence, but it gave me a headache. :p IMO, Klendathu Drop would have been better.
Oh, I forgot Eric Flint. 1632 was superb.
Themocaw, welcome back! I thought you fell into a black hole somewhere. Sentient species taste better...
Yeah, that would have been bad. It's kind of hard to write a story when you've been torn apart and reduced to a sub-atomic level...
Here's how I map hullsizes: Tiny: Satilties/interceptors (depends on how I make the ship look.) Small: Fighters Medium: Destroyer Large: Cruiser Huge: Battleship
Yeh. Diary of a Terran Soldier is the best.
Amen to that!
just up it to Tough difficulty
I'm not that good, so I'lll proboly get slaughtered, but what the heck?
Nice job with the Eisenhower and Normandy, Sammy! They somehow pull off that bulky 'naval' look while still looking sleek. Well done!
For me, it's a tie between Harry Turtledove and Naomi Novik. From page 1 of all thier books, I knew I was reading the works of master story-tellers. I highly recomend the Worldwar and Colonization series, (Turtledove) as well as His Majesty's Dragon and Throne of Jade. (Novik)
I wonder if any Jericho memoribilia will come out, like an Allied States of America flag... Also, does anyone think a Jericho movie would work?
Hey guys, what's up? I posted a game a few hours ago, got a cool 4080 points! Really epic one, too; lots of fleet battles. i'm thinking of graduating to Large maps and/or Challenging difficulty.
I guess someone bought the Geckodons at PetSmart, they'd jump at the chance to (stupidly) challenge the Kzinti. Oh, and we'll make scratching posts out of the Tyranny of Evil!!
I actually like the new screen. I mean really, armies numbering in the billions getting in neat battle lines and charging at each other? The blinking flags may not be as visualy satidfying as (blocky) soldiers, but it make the battles seem bigger, I.E., going on alround the planet.
True, but Operation Final Victory sounds cooler.
Or, you could throw in a Starship Troopers reference and call it 'Operation March To Victory'.
I tkink you should re-name the Drengin invasion 'Operation Mop-Up'.
ok, hate to bring out just how much of a newb I am, but how exactly do you take a screenshot?
Hold down the 'Alt' key, then hit the 'Prt Scrn' key. That takes the screenshot. To save said screenshot, open an imaging tool like Microsoft Paintt and press the 'Ctrl' key and 'V' at the same time. Click 'Save As' and save your screen shot as A JPEG or PNG. now you can upload it to an image-hostins site such as Imageshack or Photobucket.
