" align="baseline" /> Earth Federation Starfleet is responsible for protecting the Federation and its allies from space-bourne threats. Since 2228, we have fearlessly ventured into battle and emerged victorious. Heroes have risen from our ranks, and now is your chance to

A campaign mode that plays out differently depending on your actions. For instance, let's say in one mission, you lead a team of soliders to attack an orc (or thier equilavent in this game) base, and nearby is village, also inhabited by orcs. If you take out the village first, you could end up fending off revenge attacks on a human village in the next mission. If you take down the base first, the survivors may evacuate along with the village, and you and your soldiers must chase them down for th
estimate
That's the key word. Infinite or not, the universe is so mind-bogglingly huge that any knid of estimates as to its size or number of habittale planets is an educated guess at best, and a huge extrapolation at worst. This post has remianed civil so far, but let's remember that so an intresting discussion doesn't devolve into a "flame war".
Maybe they should just get rid of the "make it toxic" thing. That would solve everything.
And create a whol new problem: The spore module, now that it doesn't toxify the planet, is a game-breaker, because it just kills everyone and doesn't afftect the planet. :NOTSURE:

Why am I getting the sinking feeling that one of the following will happen? 1. The mission to spy on the Korath is a trap;"Ordo" is in league with them. 2. Tresia will challenge Jordan/Zane to some kind of cerimonial Altarian duel. 3. Jordan will lose his cool and do something stupid(er).

I guess they are. But I WILL finish this story. BTW, I have an idea in the back of my head about making an Metaverse empire out of Earth Federation Starfleet. If I made it, would anyone join?

Hello, this is a companion post to "Who is your favorite author?", and the question above is the topic. Books have been being adapted into movies for a long time, sometimes the results are excelent, (Lord of the Rings RULES!) and sometimes the results are awful. But many books have great potential as movies, but haven't been adapted to the silver screen. (Not yet, that is.) So, I've created this post so we can share our opinions on which books we'd like to see turned into movies. Ha
I couldnt agree more. Take it even further than that and a storyline about a Tosevite fuelled Rabotev/Hallesi revolution. Or even the eradication of the Race from Tosev.
Those are good ideas, but really big stretches. The Raotevs and Hallesi have been part of the Empire for tens of thousands of years, and we only had two FTL ships at the end of Homeward Bound, not to mention the Lizards would find out pretty quick if we tried to wipe them out. And remember, they ha
The World War/Colonization/Homeward Bound books are great, i just finished re-reading them.
I know this is off-topic, but I think there is room for one more book in the Tosev timeline. There were some loose ends and unanswered questions in Homeward Bound, like the Russian space-ship and the deeper implications of the new FTL travel. Also, several characters aluded to the Germans having secret stockpiles of weapons in Aftershocks, and I don't think they would

Hello everyone, I was thinking that we all probobly have good ideas for custom logos, but may not have the programs nessicary (sp?) to make them. Therefore, I declare this to be an Official Logo Suggestion Board. Just post your ideas here. Here are mine: A dragon clutching Earth in its talons. An insectoid skull with two crossed axes under it, painted on a shield. A crobra coiled around an Enterprise -esque ship. A lightning bolt s
would also like the option to customise your home planet a bit. maybe add a few points, and let people put bonus tiles of their choice on the planet (if you live on a planet for 10,000 years, and had a precurser liberaty on it, you would know about it, and be able to use it a long time ago) as well as pay for extra pop and economy from the start.
Seconed. I would liek an option to choose your home planet's look. It gets so frustrating when I'm playing as my custom race of
How did you write this now from the Korx perspective? How do you know that they have this Telenath thing.
To answer the above questions: 1. I wanted to portray the Korx as characters, not just snarling villans, and I've always thought of them as not evil, simply misguided. 2. When I finally assaulted Korx, they somehow got a Dreadnought, and I wanted to work this into the story.

Hessarah sighed. She had been sighing a lot lately, given how tiring (to say the very least) holding on to her position of power was. It seemed that eveything bad that could happen, did. Counter-coups by loyalists to obsure ans self-rightous govoners, (as expected, not everyone went along with her "regime change",) attempts by her co-conspiritors to depose her, and mass riots among the general population. The last incident was the only one she regretted crushing. She had led the coup to dep

A quick note on the uniforms the humans wear: don't think WW2 German uniforms, think somethink along the lines of the regalia worn by the Imperial offivers from Star Wars, minus those ridiculous hats.

I'm not an FPS kind of guy, but I really enjoyed Project Snowblind. The gameplay variety was superb. You'd lead a massive assault with huge numbers of soldiers on an enemy compound in one mission, then find yourself sneaking alone through a top-secret base in the next one. And let's not forget the augmentations: slow down time, put up a peronal shield, stun foes with an electric pulse, and send them flying with a super-strong punch. And the weapons! My favorite weapon in Sno
