You can keep your game updated by using our update and download manager, Impulse. If you don't already have it, you can get Impulse here (http://impulsedriven.com/). Impulse is free and so are the updates. Once you have the latest version, try playing multiplayer again and let us know if you have any problems or not. Thanks, ~C

yeah, that's the confusing part for most users. You can install any version of DirectX you like, it's just a matter of whether or not your video card is capable of using all of it's features.
