Although your video card meets the minimum for display memory (64 MB), it is not a DirectX 9.0c compatible card. This can be confusing, since you are still allowed to install DirectX 9.0c even though your card is not capable of all of it's

Also, in the full game, there will be a "Quick Play" button and a "Campaign Play" button on the main menu. In both of these modes of the full game you play single player against the AI.
I played The Bourne Conspiracy on my 360. Also some PM2008 on my pc.
I think it's been said that those sliders weren't actually doing anything in code. If you're looking to shake things up in your game, use the new randomization options. Which are definitely hooked up and will affect the game.
[quote]'m wondering if anyone could reccomend a Suitable video card. Preferably one not costing more than $NZ100 (Around $60-$70US), or point me in the right direction which would be just as helpful. hdafgard, I typed in "intel 945 drivers" at intels website and followed the links to get to this page : http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2301 I selected Windows XP Home Edition (which is what you have) and it popped up with drivers as new as 2/15/08. So try those and let us know. And if you are able to install th
There are a couple of things that might be causing the map to be green... [1] The map view is set to "Awareness". This is indicated by shades of green. You can change it near the top right corner of the screen. There will be a drop down menu to the left of the turn counter. There you can change what is being displayed (Awareness of you per state, the number of Electoral Votes each state has, State Wealth, Popular Vote, etc..). [2] Or you are playing the

I'm assuming that you are installing it from the retail CD. I'm not sure what the problem is, but a way for you to get around using that installer from the disc is to use Impulse to download the game digitally. Impulse is our game downloader and updater. It's free and you can get it here (http://impulsedriven.com/). Once you have installed Impulse, you can register the game and then downl

I actually haven't gotten around to buying it yet. I know it's out and I do want to buy it, just haven't gotten a chance really. I have a few gigs of space still on my 360, so I might transfer the RB1 songs over, but probably not right away. I'll wait until I get sick of the RB2 songs and all the DLC I already have. ~C

Hey OfficeSupplies, PM2008 requires a graphics card that is compatible with DirectX 9.0 or higher. This is listed as a minimum requirement on the back of the box. The reason for this requirement is because we use something called Pixel Shader 2.0 in the game. According to the ATI graphics card comparison listed here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_

A white screen usually means your video card is not new enough to run the game. But just to be sure, can you post the contents of your debug.err file. The file can be opened with notepad and is located here: "documents/my games/polmachine2008/debug.err". The file will have system specs as well as game messages.
