Although we do have many active users, and Stardock employees that check the forums, it will often take more than 10 minutes for a response. Especially when you post on the weekends. The forums are not live support.
I'm playing on the PC version I got today a

Based on what you've heard about Elemental so far, what are some things you'd like to see make it into the game? Start new threads in this section of the forums to let us know. We devs scour the forums quite frequently, so don't worry about your post being buried - we'll find it and read it. Have fun.
It should also be mentioned that Impulse has an IRC client built right in. Fire it up and go to the "Community" tab, and then choose "Chat" at the bottom.
I voted at 10:45am. Plenty of parking available, no line. I was in-and-out in the amount of time it took me to get the ballot, fill it out, turn it in, and put on my "I voted" sticker.
The "debug.err" file is located at "Documents/My Games/PolMachine2008/". It can be opened with notepad. Please post the entire contents of it here. The file will have general system specs as well as game messages that can help us track down your issue.
What am I to do? If anyone have any suggestions or can try to help me, let me know and I can start a new post with my debug.err attached.
crdroxxpl, Definitely start a new thread. In it, describe the problem you are having, and then post the entire contents of your "debug.err" file (which can be opened with notepad and is located at "documents/my games/polmachine2008/"). Once we see the contents of the file, we can see what might be happening and be

You can customize their stats and appearance. Then you can play the Drengi scenario against Lord Kona.

Well I thought it was a good read.
-To play the game on a different scenario, choose Quick Play from the main menu and use the "Scenario" drop down to change the scenario. Continue from that point setting up the game as usual. -To play by yourself, against the AI, you can choose either Quick Play or Campaign Play from the main menu. Technically, you could also choose Multiplayer from the main menu, create a match, and then check the box that says "Use AI Opponent". Another useful tip is to check out

Hey Josh, In order to help you the most, we'll need to see the contents of a file that the game creates everytime it is run. It's called "debug.err" and is located at "....documents/my games/PolMachine2008/". Just open it with notepad and paste the entire contents in your reply. This file will have game messages as well as machine specs we can use to track down your problem.
That map is not meant to be accurate. The description of the scenario is "Europe as inaccurately imagined by a typical American high school student", or something similar. It's meant to be funny. There are countries called "Pole Land", "Little Spain", "Invaidia", "Alabamia", and "Irish Land". I would think that those would bother you as well, but you make no mention of them. Anyways, it's meant to be a funny map. Just go with it. [e digicons]:)[/
I bought this game knowing full well that it requires 512RAM, while my computer came with 448mb of RAM. ...Is there anything I can do about this? Anything to make it let me try running it, even if the computer is a little slow and congested?
The retail disc installer of the game does have a check in there to make sure you at least meet the minimum requirement for RAM. It's always a good idea to put in as much RAM as your motherboard will allow.&nbs
Um, you have it automatically. When you select your guy and then right click on a state, he'll move to that state via the jet (or train, or spaceship - depending on which scenario you are playing).
When you press the "Multiplayer" button on the main menu it will cause a window to pop up that says "Impulse Log-In." The "LAN GAME" button will be on that window. Is this where you are looking and not seeing it?
Achievements are awesome. I was already a completionist when I played games - wanting to beat every aspect of them, on every difficulty. Now that there are achievements in every game too, it adds a second layer of replayability for me. By the way Trent, I still have more points than you. haha.

This is a minimum requirement of the game. As Kryo says in reply #11, just because you can install directX 9.0c doesn't mean that your card is capable of using all of its features. The feature we rely on is something called Pixel Shader 2.0. If you look a
