Alright thanks for the info! That helps and thanks for the version tip. I was guessing that would be a problem, but I wasn't for sure.

Ok that makes sense, thanks for the quick tip. I also haven't had the problem where a ship tries to jump back to the factory it was made from. For some reason it just has never happened for me. Sometimes bugs don't happen to everyone. My game and Kit's probably has the bug, but for some reason unknown to us it hasn't come up for her or me. Who knows, maybe in our next games it will pop up. The whole point is stop making a deal out of it. I understand that it is a
Ok, first a question. When you download replays are you downloading them to the games Program files? So in other words do we watch them from Sins and not from a video player like Windows Media? If I watch them from Sins then where do I send them to. If I dont then I am having trouble playing them as my Media player doesn't show video, I can just hear the audio. And then after the above is anwered, do you have any suggestions on MP replayes that are pretty awesom
Here is what I don't get about fleets. I always select the Move together option so my fleet supposedly will jump at the same time, but that doesn't always happen. Once I start getting larger fleets they won't all jump together. What I mean by this is that when I tell a medium to large fleet to jump together the majority of the fleet will get into position and then jump, but will leave 5-15 ships behind and those ships havn't even started to charge up their jump. This can be annoying wh
Yeah it probably was on the site, but definitly not in the forums. So I guess as Advalary said that it is just an inaccuracy with the site.
I swear that I read in the manual or on the site that the asteroid belts and fields can destroy ships and make effect bottlenecks and stuff. It's driving me crazy trying to figure out where I read that.
Sweet I forgot to mention I was running vista. Thanks for the info.
I don't normally download mods so I'm kinda confused as to where I put them in the Sins Program Files. So can someone tell me where they go?
yes there mod planets originally from Sins Plus
...Oh, just answered my own question
I've frankly put off downloading it since I don't want to have unbalanced new races in the game such as the atlanteans.
Exactly what I'm afraid of with mods. What is the name of the planets mod though, maybe I'll try that one.
From what I've read in the manual. Asteroid belts and fields can damage and destroy ships. From the matches I've played they have done nothing to stop my fleets or the AI's fleets from passing through unscathed. I've actually watched one of my ships hit an asteroid and expected it to explode but instead it passed right through. Can asteroid belts and fields actually destroy ships? I havn't had it happen to me yet.
yes there mod planets originally from Sins Plus, later added into 7 deadly sins mod compilation. Trust me just get it. Having 16 more planet types (not counting the rogue stars the creater of 7ds added also) makes things a bit more interesting. Not to count the addition 66 planet traits that were carried over from sins plus.
I've been hearing a lot about this Seven Deadly Sins mod, except none of what I hear is informationsl. Does it give a description of what is in the m
Savannah? Oceanic? What are you talking about?
Desert and Terran...unless those are mod planets that I don't know about. I like to colonize ALL planets CONQUERING THE GALAXY!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAH! *cough* ahem... I like them all, asteroids and volcanic are my least favorite though.
For me grammar isn't a real big issue. Even though I'm sure I mess up all the time. (kinda contradictory) But laptop keyboards can be a real pain to type with.
Yes! I was hoping someone would throw their hat in for TEC. I was afraid we would only be getting Advent and Vasari fans. :HOT:
Vasari commander- "One of our planets is under siege. Now excuse me while I go sandpaper my throat." I find the Vasari ships a little to bland for some reason. Which is wierd, I guess it is because they don't reflect light as much as the Advent so in my opinion they seem kinda dull. In appearance I like the Overseer and the "Space Egg" Cap ship. Their starting frigates are cool looking too.
Mmmmmm...cookies.
You guy are great. Is that like an implication that myself, Kitkun, and Monk are all different personalities of one person? That's kinda.. creepy. Kitkun doesn't like to share space, and Monk smells funny. We don't fit inside one head very well.
...Maybe, or it could be that I hate typing on laptop keyboards. I'll let you guy decide.
Darn this is a real hard one. I like all the races, but I think I would have to choose the Advent as my favorite race. Why I like the Advent- I love how their ships are the most artistic of the races, and the fact that most of them use beam lasers so you are watching a laser light show when you play. Also there is something about having girls so intent on subverting others....Wow that sounds wrong. TEC comes in a close second since I like the blockiness of their ships. And the
... . . . I look away from this thread for one day and look what happens. Just running off acting like you own the thread. Oh no you didn't! *swishy three finger snaps* You guy are great.
Ok I installed 1.09 Beta and went to play my first match. I got my nation set up with its symbol and color. I chose the darker blue, but when the match started my units were light green. Now I don't know if this is an error in the Beta or something that can be corrected. Anyone have an answer or have the same problem and then found an answer? NEVER MIND I JUST FIGURED IT OUT! Stupid update reverting all my options back to what they originally are.
Sweet thanks...It is always you and Kitkun answering all my posts! :CONGRAT: Good job lads and lasses. Jolly good show!
If they REALLY wanted to complicate it, how about making culture affect how much they like you? "Well, you refuse to blow up green's tactical structures... But MAN this hamburger tastes good! Wanna team up?"
LOL! ROFL! and any other internet slang that means laughing. No, definitly not have culture affect it. We don't want to make this game almost an exact copy of GalCiv do we? I mean it already is very similar, difference is that it is an RTS. I say let cul
So I downloaded Impulse but I can't find the beta. I remember another post that was about this same thing, I just can't remember what the answer was. So how do I find it?
The thing thats annoying me at the moment is that all the missions are against my 2 allies, and each ally wants me to trash the other one. I'm actually quite happy with both of them, so I dont want to attack either, at least until I get rid of the other 7 (2 down, 5 to go). But the ways its going, I'll be forced to choose pretty soon. Unfortunately, the one thats more important to keep allied, is the one with the biggest hit for failing, and since they are TEC as well as
