Okay thanks. By the time I had read any of the messages above, I had already started another game. However, below is a crash that I have been routinely getting, which may or may not be related to the disappearing fleet problem: Debug Message: Version v1.50x3 Dark Avatar last updated on: Mon Mar 12 18:37:34 2007 Debug Message: Checking DX Version. Debug Message: *********DXDiag info follows.********* System Info Time: 4/19/2007, 04:22:37 DirectX Version: DirectX

There was no crash of the game. It functioned normally except for the missing ships. Will there still be a debug file under those circumstances?

I'm running the latest non-beta version of DA. I loaded a previously saved game and something didn't seem right-most of my vast fleet was missing in action. I checked the ship list at the bottom of the UI and it still reflected that the fleets existed. However, instead of the usual graphic next to the fleet designation, there was a blank scrreen. I clicked on the fleet (still in the UI list) and it took me to the location of the "fleet" on the galactic screen, but there was nothing actually

Just to test, I've started several games. Consistently, the lack of a sensor radius appears in the top two rows of sector squares and the three columns furthest to the right. May yet appear elsewhere, but I have observed the effect in those areas on a consistent basis.

I've actually tried clicking on the ships repeatedly to 'cure' this effect with no success. As noted above, restarting the same game does not help either. However, I have started a new game in which, so far, the effect is not occurring.

I'll take back what I said in the last post about the unexplored sector effect being random. It is actually the last three columns of sector squares on the right side of the screen. Once ships cross that line, they lose their sensor halo and do not uncover the unexplored "shroud" that covers the square. They do however continue to uncover planets, resources, stars and anomolies as they pass near them.

I am having the nearly the same experience with the very latest version of Dark Avatar except for me the tiles remain unexplored randomly. A ship will pass through but the area remains fogged over as though unexplored except that planets and anomalies will show up. The ship entirely loses its "sensor area" that it would usually have around it.

I am getting consistent crashes once the game gets into the mid stage. This was something that never occurred until I updated to the most recent version of Dark Avatar, 1.50X. Unfortunately, print screen does not seem to be working but the following is the error message (or type of message) I've been getting: GalCiv2.DarkAvatar: GC2DarkAvatar.exe-Application Error The instruction at "0X008c9a8" referenced memory at "0X04cefa80." The memory could not be "written." Cl
