blummin slow yur server, just downloading the game now, I got a 10meg connection it started off at about 200k a sec, now its less than 100. scuse me while i go slash my wrists. or cancel the download, and use my discs. or oh well, started so i'll finish.

didnt know it was originally from a nes game. I remember going around to my friends house and he had an Amiga, at the time you could get loads of Demo's (put the disc in, great graphics and soundtrack, like a music video, only on your Amiga) and it had a badass techno tune and at intervals it would sample out 'All your base, are belong to us' in a robotic voice, with each word popping up as it said it. It was truely amazing at the time, eeeeeeeeeeeeee when i were a lad...
I had an illegal copy of the game, loved it, got read hissy cos it was buggy. thought balls to it, 'get on eeeeebay', bid on a copy and paid 14 gbp for it, sat happy knowing that soon, a legit copy would drop thru my door. While waiting for it to arrive, I started reading the forums and came across this thread, then my heart sank. ok i've tried it..... i've added two prereqs to the tech tree and instead of the tree expanding the two weapons doom ray and blackhole eruptor it just doubles up the new weapon at the end of each of the weapons lines. it didnt crash.........is there anyway of joining two tech lines? example doom ray -----------------------new tech blackhole eruptor
some anomiles have a wormhole. couldnt you stop the anomiles from disappearing? I guess this would send all AI players mad though with their survey ships darting for the wormhole over and over again.
Hi people. feeling impressed by some of the mods out there, and finding the tech tree somewhat small I was thinking about expanding it. What I wanted to do is improve the weapons, but before I investigate further I wanted to know if you add a new tech, can you denote two prerequisites and also can you add two types of firepower to one weapon. black hole eruptor ------ black hole eruptor with phasor cannons doom ray
bloody annoying this. why is it the computer can place starbases within 3ps of my starbases? thought this would have been sorted by now. sick of going to war just to remove them. I play the game as a peace loving but evil race. Although I dont mind giving the computer a good ass whooping... I try to maintain galactic peace by solving wars and preventing asslimilation of other races by their foes. Dunno why I do this, its just the way I play the game.
