I would like to back up all my Windowblinds customizations, configurations, registry settings, etc. But, I do NOT want to use Impulse. I prefer doing a direct backup using my own backup sets. Would someone please refer me to perhaps a list of files, registry keys, etc. that should be included in the backup set? Thanks

when wb is installed, it defaults to skinning all applications. i see where each application setting can be changed individually. however, i would like to install wb and have it fully skin only my xp system, and skin only each individual application's title bar. is that possible?? thanks

i should have mentioned that in my post. as m-203 suggests, i prefer not to use stardock/impulse, and i'm looking for a way to back up in case i have to rebuild the system.

i'm sure this has probably been asked before, but i can't seem to find the thread... i need to know which files (or registry entries) hold the configuration settings for windowblinds. thanks

well..... i guess 6.2 was just wishful thinking, eh? so, i did exactly as you suggested. download wb6 to archive unloaded and uninstalled wb, rebooted used sdc to restore wb6 from archive still didn't work wb6 hangs on wbsrv.dll. it tries to install, gets to 1% then starts again. fyi i'm running xp-sp2 i did a fresh install of asp.net 3.5 (i read in the forum it is required for wb) any other thoughts?

hello everyone i purchased wb 5 then purchased an upgrade to wb 6. at first, everything went smoothly. now, i am trying to update ver 6 to 6.2. using stardock central the update seems to download, but gets hung when trying to extract and install. i have done numerous complete uninstalls and reinstalls to no avail. so, i thought i'd try to download the latest ver 6 directly from stardock and install without using stardock central. i dilled in my emai and stardock sent me the email showin

i am trying to update windowblinds 6.0 to the latest build (6.03.046 dtd 3/19/2008) using stardock central. i'm running xpsp2 and using the latest stardock central build. the windowblinds update hangs during the install of wbsrv.dll. it cannot install this file and loops back to try again. i have done two complete, clean install/uninstalls of both stardock central and windowblinds with no success. i have most "unneeded" services disabled in xp, so the only thing i can think

thanks for asking. i wish you total success in your quest! my 2 cents...personally, i would like to see a browser with: 1. bullet proof security 2. speed 3. ability to add plugins and extensions. that way, the user can customize their own browser features 4. good support. having an active forum is helpful, but not always. real support comes from people who are intimately familiar with the program and its code, AND are not afraid to have real communication from users
