I just got this activation error now, I've already sent a ticket in. This sux I just wanted to look at something for a second and now I have to wait for however long, I probably won't care or or remember what it was I wanted to find out by the time someone fixes it.

So do Object Desktop customers get WB6 free? I thought I was suppose to get free updates for a year. Including this right?

Hey thanks, I'm guessing it was the box you had to tick for Vista icons in IconDeveloper? However I don't really think the icon is right for the game, in the original you can just tell it's the skull of a robotic killing machine while this new one is too human. Since I installed IconDeveloper to try fix your icon I just went ahead and made a new one for myself based on the games box art. <img src="http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c326/Necaradan/definition256x256-TrueColor.jpg
Wow Fuzzy, I wan't aware that there were such links available. How does one go about finding these webcam links? (Really, I not joking with you or trying to pull you leg) Heh, me either. I came to this thread to mention that the Xbox Live Vision cam is quality bit of hardware. Oh well.
I don't think thats the problem. I tried both ways and got the same results. I did click save target as, not save picture as...
That's a okay looking icon, when I saved it however, I didn't seem to get all the correct sizes. Is that because I just right clicked and saved the icon or doesn't the icon include all the Vista sizes to begin with?
I've been looking for a Vista size icon for Dawn of War - Dark Crusade to go in my games explorer. Relic/THQ don't seem to want to fix this up so I am here. The original icon is a green skull on a black field. If someone could make an attempt at this I would prefer it in .ICO format.
Yep, the file is there but when I run it nothing happens. Vista gives me the compatibility dialog asking if the program worked correctly or should run with recommended settings. Both options had no effect. I also found another file with the same name in the Dark Avatar folder which didn't seem to do anything either.
It's not a Vista problem it's a Stardock problem. They have to set up the icon and the downloadable information for the ratings and recommendations, not Microsoft. I don't expect the companies of older games that I have to update their games to work with the explorer but for one that just came out I do. Btw all the Microsoft games I've installed just to see if they install into the explorer, way back to Age of Empires, have been updated which is cool.
Ok so I spent all day downloading and installing a new Dark Avatar. The game does not install into the games explorer. For Stardock a company that prides itself on looking nice it sucks that their new game doesn't have an entry.
Almost every time I visit any page on wincustomize.com I get a Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet Site error. I click OK and get shown the IE error page. I can always hit the back button in my browser and the wincustomise page I was trying to get to works fine. This has been happening for quite a while on XP and now Vista <img src="http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c326/Necaradan/WincustErro
RadarSync is rubbish. After reading this post I went for a look because I'm missing a few drivers. The website is just as difficult if not worse than any other driver download site. The main page has a list of links to drivers however none of them give any clue to what versions the drivers actually are and although it keeps saying how it's free you'll very soon discover that in order to actually get any use from the site you'll have to pay for a premium membership. I hate the way these guys lie
Nope, it installed into the start menu/all programs list like it always has. I'll try installing it again. The Games Explorer is way cooler than just having an icon in the start menu or an icon on the desktop. The icons are large and colourful and the ESRB and Recommended System Ratings are nice.
Since this game was so recently released why doesn't it install an icon into the Vista Games folder with the ratings info and stuff? Can we get this working for a future update?
I'm using Vista, my problem is that Stardock Central Registration Window doesn't work. I can register my Object Desktop serial number but I can't switch to a different page to register any games.
Ok, so I tried the game on two PCs and two laptops yesterday - no sfx. Today I walk in and my sister is playing Disciples - the music is playing. I get her to start a new level - VO is playing... Huh? I guess my issue is solved but I have no idea how. (though I'm still not happy it took so long to get dowloaded without failing)
Anyone else got this game from TG.net? Do you have music and speech in the game? I already own 2 versions of Disciples II and only bought this Ultimate Edition because the game was so old that Rise of the Elves was never even released here in Australia. Apart from the fact it has taken me *months* since I paid to get it downloaded without failing halfway, the game has no speech in the mission intros and no music whatsoever. What the fuck is going on here? These are some of the most atmosphe
Fuckin' cheapskate, Object Desktop messed up my computer but at least I paid to do it!
or take a picture of The Simpsons and paste it on a picture of your backyard are still out of luck. That's a great idea!..... *goes to find digital camera*
Yeah, as soon as I saw it I knew it had to be one of the causes. However, like I mentioned I have also tested when this program was disabled. All this program seems to do is setup the three card reader drive icons. In all the years I've been messing with my pc I never actually noticed this program till I looked yesterday. I have tried with three different versions of my video drivers and can't find any other appropriate ones to try. If Stardock really conflicts w

You are wrong. It is a drop down menu, while most of the setting options are checkboxes a few are drop down menus, including the view setting. Like I said, I am not stupid, I do know how to change a few simple settings. I made a post here last week and had not a single response for five days. I deleted that post and reworded it to be more understandable. (It included some not so relevant information on other issues I researched when trying to find fixes for the proble
