You can play the old campaigns in TA... but they are messed up, ship building and tech trees most visibly.
Necaradan666
Run SDC as administrator.
I am having the installation problem too. SDC keeps extracting the same files over and over again. I already had show pre-release versions checked but I had no success either way. Help please! Ok found the answer in another thread.. Needed to run SDC in Administrator mode to install TA
After downloading the 1.80g update for Dark Avatar I have been getting a crash to desktop every time I finish a game and hit continue to start the next scenario. Actually one of the only few skins I truly like is Molten, with the animated dragon and start menu. I use it along with the standard lava dreamscene, which is also one of the few I can actually use for more than a little while. Searching through hundreds of anything sux bad, there are over 700 pages in some of these galleries and after a couple hours of seeing nothing I like it's very hard to be bothered going further. Maybe a more comprehensive search function is in order.
I finally got a home network set up because of Vista. I could see what was going on, its very user friendly. The boxes full of numbers on XP meant nothing to me. I very much like the little things that make using the OS easier than XP. Like when you are copying a number of files and it comes to one that is a system file or read-only, Vista asks what you want to do instead of just canceling the process. Like when you copy a file that already exists at your destination it gives you bette
Yeah I see, the transparency is showing in all my skins. But only Molten has a missing 'Back' button.
I can understand why the skins are not put into Programs Files folder, I much prefer the new folder structure of Vista. But why are the skins moved to my public sharing folder? eg *\Users\Public\Documents\* Everyone on my network can get into that folder and if they see a bunch of skins they might start messing with them. I *only* have stuff in there that is meant for other network users. Why isn't the default folder my own User folder eg. *\Users\Necaradan666\Documents\* My .
Molten doesn't seem to skin the Problem Reports and Solution window on Vista properly. Its transparent on the title and the 'Back' button is missing.
Nothing to see here.
I just tried loading the webpage without being logged in. Everything worked perfectly....could this be something to do with my Object Desktop subscription lapsing this month? Seems to work fine if I log in after loading the page too. I can refresh the page but I cannot touch the forum button at the top or I'll have to log off and on again.
I cannot access the Wincustomize forums either. I am running IE7 on Vista Ultimate. When I click on the forum button at the top of Wincustomize.com the page loads but before I can do anything I get an error message telling me IE cannot open the web page and the opertaion is aborted. I have seen similar behaviour many time befores on the Wincustomize (any page not just forum) but I could always just hit Back and I would be able to use the page, it's not working at all now though. <br
Hey guys, now I'm after a vista size icon for Emperor of the Fading Suns. Here is the original:
Seems WB6 is not compatible with Supreme Commander. I couldn't start the game without switching back to Aero.
After applying the Molten skin I can't change to any other skin or back to Aero
Do what you will is the whole of the law
If you are using IconDeveloper remember there is a box you need to tick in the options somewhere. I just found this out the other day.
"It's not my fault I stole from house - the door was open and I saw cool stuff there." I have seen people get off charges for saying just that.
ah cool, didn't know what to think from how Frogboy said Feb 1. I don't actually use the programs much cause they crash my system too often. I just wanted to make sure I was getting my dues, heh.
I got mine on launch day and it worked perfectly for about 9 months, I care for my stuff well but I got the red ring of death. I talked to a very helpful and informed support guy and sent my xbox away for repairs. Only next week I had it back and it hasn't give me any other problems so far. I'm quite happy with the service in all respects. Although my original xbox is still going strong, they should have stuck with the big black box instead of trying to make it look more flashy. I've had little
The first time I tried iTunes+Quicktime on the beta version of Vista it didn't work but I've downloaded two updated versions since then and I had no problems. I don't actually use the programs much, I prefer WMP, but sometimes you need to watch a .MOV file so...
What?! Gotta pay for that? When I read about it the other day I had assumed it was free. It should be part of their drivers for Vista or something. I can't believe they want me to pay to hear my old games the way they are meant to sound. Talk about lack of support geez. Glad I don't have a Creative card...
Yeah, I'll do that... Necaradan666 scratches his ass
It takes the exact same amount of clicks to get into display properties... In Vista its once on the desktop and then once on display settings, in XP once on the desktop and then once on the display settings tab. It's just as easy to get the Task Manager open, either right click on the taskbar or press crtl-shift-esc. Since he apparently doesn't know much about Vista how can I know if this guy has any idea about the abilities of TweakVista. Having such uninformed anti-vista drib
Wow the second word in the intro has a typo how can I trust a site like that?
