well...from a purely logistical stand point, it wouldn't be difficult. All one's character would have to do would be to switch empires; I did it with my League character (he was originally in the Tyranny, now in the MVL Empire)
Just a reminder to everyone who has not done so already to please vote here on the [link="http://www.thegalacticcore.com/forum/index.php?showforum=137"]MVL Vote on Tie Breaks[/link] We are trying to make sure we have a general consensus and so far we have heard from 11 players, or almost half of the MVL.

Y'know, we have "The Metaverse League" already pinned in the Metaverse Forums; a proper retooling of it and the Player Sign Up page could probably provide what we are looking for.

a retooling of the Sign Up Roster could definitely be made to work; i just really don't want this to be happening over and over again; basically, I just wanted my idea to be made "user-friendly" :D Maybe Neilo can get Marshall or lol, Piznit (have any of you [I]seen[/I] his artistic skills hehe) to make a fancy little welcome/to do list poster to add to the OP

in all honesty i agree, and this is why I have made a proposal in the MVL Rulebook thread about such matters in the future. I am personally for, and willing, to in this [I]unique[/I] situation allow Amalric to make sure he gets into contact with his team and allow a future submission. I will say that I would only be willing to make this kind of gesture this time and would want a set procedure agreed upon in the future as it is not really fair to current and new players of the League to allow
We had an almost exact same situation occur with another player in Round 4. Unfortunately, we did decide at that time that the individual was not allowed to resubmit another game. Obviously, we want to make sure that this kind of occurrence not be repeated yet again. It is because of this that I am setting forth a proposal on procedures for new members that wish to join the MVL in the MVL Rulebook thread.

at Bright in DL the AI is still nerfed a lil bit, at Intelligent it uses all of its algorithms and full economic potential. At above Intelligent those algorithms are in place and it starts getting mostly economic and some increases to its abilities. I don't remember the exact correlation in DL, but in DA I find Genius the level where the AI is at least on par with me.
sometimes it depends on giving the AI incentives...I've played games where until I really start kicking out my military the AI will stay on the low end of the mil spectrum...get someone that is starting to outstrip the others and then watch the Arms Race begin. Also make sure you use the "Enable CPU intensive algorithms" for Dread Lords, and if you have the processing power, you can do the same in Dark Avatar (Edit Opponent sub-menus). ferrel are you using the 1.80f or 1.80g builds? If you are, was the game you played from an older build- if yes, just try (sadly) a new game. If you are receiving a Error 12 and you are NOT using the 1.80f or 1.80g, save the exe and dll files in a safe folder and use Cari's upgrade....basically, 1.80e was supposed to fix the Error 12 issues that were happening in the earlier DA builds.
