Another thing I just noticed in the "explore" section, almost everything I moved my cursor over had a "purchase" link to the right. What is up with that? Just paid $60 for Object Desktop and something else that was $9.99. Just found out we have to pay MORE $$...I can't help feeling I've been taken. Maybe it's just that I'm such a beginner with it, I don't know. Someone offer a little help? Please? <br
I'm with you ian...I did the same exact thing. Purchased Object Desktop because I thought it included most of the things I would need to have the beautiful pages I've seen. There isn't anything resembling an instructional manual. I'm not sure what to do and where to start. I you or anyone else has any tips or tricks, Please post them ? That would be greatly appreciated...

I have noticed that when I wake up my laptop after sleep (close lid), I have lost the background color and hotlink color in some dialogs. Here is a screeny of the issue: On the left is what it should (and does) look like on fresh apply of the skin. On the right is after waking up from sleep.
I don't believe that any skin gets a higher rating than 3 stars. Any skin I upload gets automatically 3 stars and it's up to users to rate it up or down. The only exception would be masterskins which if memory serves get an auto 5 stars. Gee wi

I do have something you could try: make the top part of your start panel 30px instead of what you have. Simply add extra blank canvas to the top part image. The only drawback I could imagine would be that the panel would sit very far from the taskbar if the user had a top taskbar config. But let's face it, only weirdos do that anyway. Keep in mind, I haven't personally tested this....just thinking out load.

Even with the user pic hidden, windows will still reserve the space where it would have sat leaving that area totally unusable. I have worked out that you need a total of 30 px for the user pic. That is, 30px from the top of the menu. Say for example the top part of your startpanel is 15px. You then need to set the top text margin on the places (right side) to 15 px. 15px (top part) + 15px (text
