Fighters could be good for taking out ship subsystems. these arent extensive, it appears taht there are only basic ones on the big ships. nothing more.
Schod
makes sense to me...
um... interesting choice?
but that would leave an incomplete message. some people could end up assuming it was permanent.
I had the same problem... until I just copied the shield picture from this websight. *sigh* I wanted to put a ninja up there...
lol, I love canadian bacon! it makes fun of the most complacent country in the world. makes it seem like an evil, militant, Soviet (propogandized version) government. but seriously, why is somebody creating tracking coins for Candian money???
so it leaves it open to discussion whether or not an actual physical (ie permanent) gate can be built around a planet which creates a more stable node in Phase Space. I'm saying we have no confirmed reports. so lets not make assumptions besides, it isnt labeled "wormhole" its labeled "phase gate" <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center b
but the only things confirmed so far to have that is the vasari fighter ship. I haven't seen it in any other place.
One will have the advantage, but no one would have "zero capacity" yeah, but still almost negligable effect. I think fighters SHOULD be completely useless against everything but bombers. The reasoning for this is from wh
even socialism requires money... besides, money works as a standard. would you really want to try to guess how many watermelons and kiwis the ISS is worth? speaking of which I happened upon a really awesome article that explains exactly why socialism is a terrible idea. unfortunately I dont really feel like typing it up/looking for it. maybe later.
Canada on the move? as always I dont intend any insult. but this is an interesting article, isnt it?
I think it works like this. with primaries named first Vasari:Metal, Crystal TEC:Money, Metal Advent:Crystal, Money now, thats IF i'm right about money, and If I do NOT happen to be right (high probability) I at least know that the TEC use metal and the Advent use crystal.
I think there a bit more balanced than what Schem says but not as simple as Wedges explanation. how so? besides, who would take down strike craft if wedge was right.
phase gates I think only the vasari have them. so they cant be incredibally powerful and besides, I think they are transient, ephemeral, not very long lasting
I'd prefer that the really big ships (like the flag ships) take a good deal of time. those ships should be a labor to take down of course, you should have to sell half your empire just to buy one. and they shouldn't be capable of blowing up a ship in 3 seconds. just make them big-defense with a lotta guns.
WILLY
WITH
PLAY
So i guess Schem won that one. yes, that is by far the best source out there! but only as long as they can sell their product exactly. besides, the middle man is dissapearing every day now.
they already care little for the customer. are you joking? the customer is all that matters. everything and allthings lead back to the customer. Think what they will be like when they gain actual power? </TABLE
OH MY GOD!!!! YOU SHOT ME IN THE EYE!!! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT??? *falls off the edge, legs flailing*
well duhr, dont get so caught up on your trail that you miss the scenery.
Gunships kill interceptors Interceptors kill bombers I dont think this is it, lets ask blair. I think that fighters can play a limited anti-capital role, and a limited anti-fighter class role. but I think interceptors are specialized for anti-fighter with near no anti-cap ship capacity, and that bombers are fully anti-cap with nearly no an
no, I'm absolutely and completely (sorta) certain that they use crystal. I think the idea is that the crystal gives them nice shiny powers, but is defensively weak.
