Would you care to be more specific ?
Oh absolutely :) I really miss the focus on the heroes units (cap ships). What ever happened after release im not 100% sure about, but they dont feel as important anymore. In beta 4 the first cap ships was really important, really powerful and with a few frigats it was alot of fun. The gameplay video from beta 3 and 4 shows this. The new Empire tree, i dont like it at all, i miss all the planets/asteroid that was on th

im confused... i never would have believed that Zoomba actually did some real work  Awesome podcast guys, but im one of those kinda guys that are not too familiar with the other products from Stardock other then the gaming side. Also im not much of a install this and that, so to convince me to see some of the stuff you guys are talking about maybe you guys could do the voice stuff as you do now, and after you recorded it, add voice to some sorta of video/slideshow that shows

The UI fps problem was well known under the beta, but was fixed either by driver or game code, i dont really remember by what and when, but it doesn't seem to have that huge effect on my machine anymore. Now that im doing the game engine test with the 32k+ ships i need to remove the UI to gain a huge fps increase, which i can understand to a degree, just find it weird the UI takes that much resources.. Also its weird that some of you have the problem with only a few ships..<br/

i dont have a fps problem unless we start talking about 20k+ ships. Try pressing ctrl+shift+z and see what happens. That might help :)
So far I'm not so sure if this card is even semi-bad ass!
i believe it will once the drivers gets better :) I just hope it runs dx10 better then mine, as almost all dx10 games gives me a driver have failed and tries to recover, then the screen flickers a few times and then BSOD.
but thanks for the suggestion.
your welcome :) ive been through the same thing, so i know your pain.. you tried other drivers? theres a new 174.85 beta driver a

Can you run Sins or other games at stock speed, without problems i mean? If not, then id say wait for another driver, since i dont believe under clocking from stock speeds will help. I had lots of problems with the 8800GTX when it just came out, as the drivers were not working correctly. So i suspect the same for all the newest hardware (:( Btw, is it a SLI motherboard you have? If you do, make sure its put in the first slot (closest to the CPU). Because i had millions of B
