For p5yy: Yes they're allowed to eat, but what, they've had a long ass time to fix a technical problem, and they need to put their minds together. What a terrible post p5yy, as i said i was patient, but i am just wondering what it is they are actually doing, as i saw one or two small changes in the entire 1.05 patch
Actually it isnt a bad post :p Sins had over a half a year of beta testing and only a few had problems with hosting and join games which got fixe
hmm, my first post didnt seem to be posted for some reason, but heres my answer again :) The part about "Not a valid win32 Application" just means its a corrupt download. Just download it again and save it to the disk where you want it. hope it helps :)
that just means its a corrupt download. Re-downloading it should fix that problem :) Oh and just save it to the disk where you want it. hope it helps :)
Unless I'm mistaking, Stardock doesn't do any programing.
But they do ;) just not for Sins. They make alot of stuff, GalCiv, The Political Machine 2008, (and some MMO game which name i cant remember atm, but its far into the future before we see it) and all kinds of software like ObjectDock, WindowBlinds, Stardock Central, Impulse, so on and so on :)
Sending a minidump in, is effort. There is no instant gain. Spending 3 minutes doing this is just not worth it. The majority cannot be arsed.
If people are too lazy to send in a minidump, then the bugs wont be fixed. Its that simple :p I cant understand why this is even being discussed, either people send in the minidump with a small description of what happened. Or the user might have to wait a long time or maybe never to have his or hers issue fixed.
w00t, now thats a surprise :D

Coelocanth, aah thanks :) from that mail, he makes it sound all cool and wonderful with the online activation and re-activation every time you download or needs to update your game. Funny he didnt mention the 3 max installations... from what happend with Bioshock, one would have thought they would have learned something. I personally dont like this at all. Its going in the wrong direction, thats for sure (:( Am i a possible thief every time i try to update my legal
There's an announcement on spore.com dated May 9th that says they're basically doing the same thing as with Mass Effect: removing the recurring 10 day authentication requirement.
You sure? because ive searched on spore.com and its nowhere to be found, that they would skip the 10 day activation, or any May 9th announcement since 2006.
But don't be fooled. The DRM is still in. You still must activate your game. The activation is still tied to your hardware profil
spore has ditched the DRM you just need to regester yoour copy now to get the patches like sins.
where did you get that info? AFAIK only Mass Effect changed there minds
awesome :D
Lol I have a better question, how long does it take you to get back to your desktop after exiting the game?Without hitting Ctrl alt Del or haveing to restart.
with the new testing (this one is old, from beta 3) of 40.000+ ships it takes me 30sec i believe
In other words, rather then taking care of the above laundry list of issues that SHOULD have been addressed either before launch or in the patches followng release, you're going to force your customers to BUY the expansion to fix your game? I wasn't aware Id need to spend more money for you to take care of the product that you should have fixed long ago since release. Thanks for the warning, I will spend my money and time elsewhere. Ive learned a valuable lesson where Stardock an
retarded no :) confused yes :p Where you see the black box called "players" it means your user accounts. If you were more then one on the same PC each of you would have there own profile (nickname). Be sure to use ICO if you want to play Online and make a nickname. When you have made one there should be another option to log in :)
It will :D Im from Denmark and have no problem with that :)

It will never be available on steam. Reason being is that its a competitor to Stardock central / Impulse. You can install stardock central, buy Sins, download, install the game. Just like on steam :)
I would like to see a move towards a more 4x style game maybe in Sins 2 , but not because I hate RTS ,on the contrary I love RTS, but there are other games to suit my RTS needs.
QFT :D
I think that many of the items on your wishlist are slated for the first expansion pack.
Awesome :CONGRAT:
Sorry you have a bad time with the game, but from the sound of it, alot of other people are enjoying it ;) But erm, whats with the link?

redwingdw28
Im going to save them and use 1 as a screensaver if thats okay?
of course, use as many as you please :)
out of curiosity how did the game run?
with the 41k+ ships it was running really slow :p but i could play "normally" with the 10k ships. Also i didnt submit the 41k savegame as it wont work since it gives the C++ error. Its been sent to Ironclad so they can improve it even further :) If anyone wants me to submit the 4
I honestly believe that no one should decide if another person should live or die. But if someone where to harm my family, and i dont care for what ever reason i would become a psykopat. I would lock that bastard in my basement and torture him for as long as i live. Thats the feeling i have about it, but no one exactly knows what you will do if something like this happens, and i hope i never will. So no, i dont believe in death penalty as it would just be far to easy for th
