Why shouldn't fighters and bombers be included? (Just trying to get at the root of the problem before considering solutions).
Blair Fraser
Should be fixed in the "Test" build on Epic at the moment.
Registered at the forum just to say how much I agree with the other comments. The whole system is a step backwards.

I can't believe you're thinking of removing fleets from a space game. 🙄 Players get excited creating fleets..
We are encouraging players to try the new features I noted above; this is part of why we are having an early access proce
Your horizontal resolution might be less than the min required 1080. It won't be optimal but try changing your UI scaling in settings or wait for the next build that has auto scaling.
Also I am not a fan of using the F key to have my fleets jump at the same time.
Can you elaborate more on this one? By default, all selected ships should jump at the same time. You can override this by using CTRL when you click the move order.
Fleets in Sins1 had a number of problems so we looked to accomplish similar behavior and solve other problems with some new approaches. Fleets may return but not without collecting plenty of feedback on the current systems. If we added fleets off the bat then the new systems wouldn't get tested. Most of your examples listed above are, in our opinion, actually easier to execute in Sins2 via improved rally point behavior, the book mark window, pre-production queue orders, improved pip g
In the meantime, use "hold_position" to keep them at your home.
Drag them around as you see fit.
Yep, next build will the ability to turn this behavior on/off on a per planet basis. You can also override for specific ships by giving them orders.
We have multi-star maps. They just aren't public.
We had one in the previous test build. It will likely be coming back but we'll see.
This should be fixed in the "Test Edition" installation.
Nice! looks great, actually brings back some memories for some reason[e digicons];)[/e] . The info is very interesting, I have some questions. They could be a bit specific to modding and may be a bit early, so I understand if they can't be answered yet. - I guess the pitch and yaw angles are relative to the hard point orientation. Can the hard point orientation be offset or angled between the fore and left
I don't remember if it was in the article of Discord, but I think Blair clarified that late game you can use refineries as TEC to get at least some of these rare resources. My guess is that they're intended to encourage early game exploration and perhaps prevent rushing/spamming certain key units until the late game.
This is correct though all the tools to accomplish these goals won't be available in the early builds. Al
After Sins of a Dark Age, we put out a number of Sins updates, patches, and a new DLC. I'm also quite active on the Sins Steam forums. But, can't talk about much else.
I'm not sure what you mean by "add the ninth on account of race in my mod" but that error means you've tried to add too many of something. Likely too many races given the context.
Thanks for sharing your solution!
Its a very generic error that indicates something is trying to access an array with an index less than 0.
Are you running the dev exe? Did you try modding something?
Thanks for your support Danman! ( Its Blair Fraser - not Brad Fraser:) )
The cheating of the harder Ais should not have changed. Do you have a save game where the Titans were born at level 10?
I can't speak for the LAA application but I applied LAA directly to the 1.87 opt-in if you want to give that a shot. In other words, you wouldn't need to get that app working.
Its all fixed for the next update (thanks ZombiesRus5). Also, if any mods have the same problem I've written code to create fallback placeholders.
Do you have the option of reducing the resolution in the graphics drop down menu or are you forced to play at only native resolution?
