That update worked. Installed it and restarted the services. Would have been nice if this update had shown up as such in Object Desktop. Would have saved me a lot of time and gnashing of teeth trying to figure out what the problem was.

Thanks. I found it. Strange, though. Updates normally show up when I open Object Desktop without having to do F5. This time. Didn't work. F5 did show updates for Fences and Start11 V2, but not WindowBlinds 11. I'll install the WB update over the weekend and let you know what happens. Thanks for the assist. Appreciate the help.
WindowBlinds doesn't show up in my download area. Maybe, because I have a lic for the complete set. I get my d/l's via Object Desktop.
Nope. ObjectDesktop is the same version I had installed. Reinstalled it anyway and WindowBlinds doesn't show an update.
Performing a Check for update from the About screen, WindowBlinds 11 says its up to date at 11.02. ObjectDesktop also does not offer an update. Windows 11 Professional is at 24H2 (26100.ge_release.240331-1435) per WindowBlinds 11. Where's the update to 11.04? And, yes, I'm paid up.
Good morning. Starting with Windows 11 cumulative update KB5049622 on 15 Jan 2015, File Explorer on my desktop quit working. Couldn't open folders, save Office files, download files, etc. None of the following MS updates, including the latest, KB5051987, fixed it. I finally, after much trial & error and searching, found this MS article "How to perform a clean boot in Windows" <a href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in
I recently installed Start11 v.2.0. I run three (ASUS's XG32VC, ROG PG248Q, VS248) monitors which I keep on all day and turn off at night. When I turned the monitors back on today, the Start Menu and Search did not work and the items on the bar were somewhat left shifted with the right side item left shifted about a quarter of the way. All of the other apps on the start bar worked. I had to log out and back in to get Start11 to function properly again. Windows
I do a lot of development in .Net 2005 and build and launch apps from the IDE. Does anyone know if it's possible to exclude an app from being skinned via the Per Application settings in WB6 when run through the IDE? I have it set up to exclude the app when running the exe directly, but this is ignored when running via the IDE. Also, setting the exclude on the IDE itself has no effect on the launched app. Thanks, JollyFE
Reply By: dharmagrl Posted: Friday, April 14, 2006 My guess is "May God Bless yoU". Ah. Yeah, that sounds about right. Yep. Combat aviator parlance for "May God Bless You" or sometimes seen as just GBU. I believe it came out of the North Vietnam POW camps as part of the shorthand for the tap code. JollyFE
First off, MGBU for doing this. I had a very close friend of mine die from cancer a year ago this month. Hospice was a God send to the family. Concur with Dr. Guy. Any version will do. I was asked to do one of the Readings for his Mass (Cahtolic). We have four or five Bibles in the house. None of them have the same wording for passage I read. I finally asked the Priest for the copy he wanted read. JollyFE
I didn't catch this incident in the news at all. I take from what is being said here, a lot of people were upset with the guy for running over the Flag. The protesters were excersizing their rights of free speech by putting up the display, the driver was excersizing his by running over the display. I haven't seen anyone, anywhere say anyone there had the moral courage to recover the Flag, fold it properly and conduct a proper ceremony for retiring t
[One question for you vets about this, though. There are some clear cut rules on how the flag should be treated (hint: running over them with a pickup truck ain't among the approved methods of disposal). If this man happens to have a military background (or better yeat, a status such as IRR), is there any action that the military could take? Just a little trivia for my own info. No. The military cannot take actions against veterans. By IRR I
Being a consultant I work in a lot of different locales. A couple of times I've had to work in the downtown area where I live. There are a fair number of people asking for handouts claiming to have fallen on hard times. I used to, occasionally, give these people a buck or two. Three incidents have caused me to stop this practise. One day after giving a guy a couple of bucks and walking on I stopped, not sure why, and turned around and watch this g
When my ancestors immigrated to Ohio from France in the 1830's - 1890's they did not, for the most part learn English. However, they didn't ask (demand) the local population learn French either. What they did do was to hire English speaking teachers to teach their kids English. Notice I said they hired. They didn't ask the State or Federal governments to pay for the teachers. They also paid for teachers to come over from France to teach their kids
ShadowWar, Concur. There's a lot of good stuff happening over there the mainstream media doesn't report. Not just in the area of stopping the terrorist either. I would like to be able to say it's just the left wing media you mentioned trying to help bring down the Pres., but Fox news and other right leaning new orgs don't run it either. One of the reasons I read blogs like Michael Yon's and the mil related net I'm on. JollyFE</fon

I'm still trying to figure out how you "out" a covert agent who isn't a covert agent. Plame has been filling a desk job for years. I guess I'm just not far enough to the left to make that connection. Guess I'll have to work on that. Hmmmm....NOT! JollyFE
In the USAF it's: "Hi, my name is Chris, I work in supply." or "..., I'm a 141 crew chief in the 445th." or :.., I fly F-16's in the Gunfighters." etc, etc. JollyFE
and MOS/AFSC please Actually, I would expect very few people on this blog to know that info about anyone in the service. My family doesn't even know what my AFCS was. Even amongst military members it doesn't come up that often. Now, their job description...that's another story. JollyFE
Slanderer (aka Reiki House) You need to walk a yard in those troops shoes before you judge their actions. I've read a number of your posts like this and frankly...you're a clueless, idiot. JollyFE
Dr. Guy, Concur. The bombing of Tokyo some days prior to Hiroshima actually killed more people than either Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Me thinks he needs to do some more reading. JollyFE
A couple of things: 1. These terrorists are not interested in discussion of any sort. Their one goal is to turn the entire world into a Taliban style Islamic state. By any means necessary. 2. Bomber Harris, who orchastrated the bombing campaign of Germany was, effectively, booted out of the RAF following WWII, was not well liked in Britain and essentially ostrized by his country for fire bombing German cities. 3. Never mind that all of these terrorist have either been through or are going through a review process, tribunal, or whatever you want to call it. It's the reason some 250 have already been released and another 30-40 are due to be released shortly. Never mind some 10% or so of those already released have been killed or re-captured on the battlefield. How many more of these haven't we encountered yet? Never mind these same people refu
