I can believe it. Many people aren't aware of it, but games are a huge business.
This may be true if you are one of the lucky few, but game development is also a tremendous risk. MOST games don't make a profit. Yes, I said most. Its easy to throw around figures and 'hate the man', but the realities of development are far from perfect realitive to other industries requiring equivilent skillsets. Fortunately there are a lot of very passionate people making games

That is a cool idea HewCP. So cool that we tried it out a loonnng time ago in the early SINS days. We used to play a board game that had revolving planets and we thought it would provide an interesting element in video game form. Unfortunately the reality was very different. The game became very disorientating - transfering the successful player's skillset from strategic decision making to visual aptitude. :)
Bad games are the problem.
People pirate good games, not bad games.
The issue with ICO this morning has been fixed. This could be a seperate issue. Is there any chance that someone got a hold of your serial number and is currently logged in?
We think the server issue has been addressed. It would be a great help if everyone could log into ICO and try to join now. Thanks [e digicons]:)[/e]
This is a seperate issue Howdidudothat. The server has been acting as it should until last night. We have isolated the problem and it should be resolved shortly.
We have a lead on this. Will be you posted.
Thanks guys, we are looking into this.
Don't be a turkey, just do it!
Thanks for the suggestion Ambro. Scaling a UI is a tricky one because the graphics are raster (pixel based). Some games will stretch these pixels but the resulting quality is poor due to the interpolation.
Does anyone suspect their serial has been compromised?
Is it possible that someone gave out their Serial and two instances logged in?
It may be running but you cant see it. Try a few things. Right click its tab and try to maximize or restore. Go to the task manager and try switching to the program. If that doesnt work find it in the program list and shut it down, then try to open it again. This happens to me once in a while.
Busterzperson, the funds are only deducted when it is released. Its likely you're looking at something else. Sorry we don't have a date for the beta release. We aren't going to give quite as much advanced warning this time due to the negative feedback when we had to push it ahead last time.
You're Welcome! See you in ICO :P
Shouldn't be a problem at all Big_Jigle :)
The servers are up and running fine. (We are playing here as I type) We'll need more information to help you out lego - thanks!
The worst trolls are those that steal your game and then bash it because they can't get a patch easily, however I still feel that people's freedoms are more important.
I had a rare early advance on Blair and wiped out his homeplanet. He had a suped up KOL that kept raiding my fringe planets for a good portion of the game. I couldn't seem to catch him for the longest time. Everytime I hunted him down he would zip out of the grav well and move on to raid further grav wells. It felt great when i finally cornered him and watched the cap ship explosion close up [e digicons][/e]
Thanks guys! Happy to share it with you finally :)
Thanks for the e-mails everyone :)
We use Photoshop and save out DDS and TGA.
We've decided to stop giving release dates - that way we won't needlessly piss anyone off when we need to delay. [e digicons];P[/e]
Thanks for the support Phalnax811!
