Adding support for multiple Shelves, vertical Shelves and the new Drawers was a staggering amount of work - had to change literally thousands and thousands of lines of code. But it's finally done! Yay! :)

A 2007 study by Google showed hard drives with average temperatures below 27 °C had a failure rate worse than hard drives with the highest reported average temperature of 50 °C, and a failure rate at least twice as high as the optimum temperature range of 37 °C to 46 °C. Just say'in. :)

You already know that sites are closing left and right. In time, that will happen with WC if the thinking around here doesn't change. Think about it a bit, is that what you really want? Or do you wish to pass on these things to a younger generation?[/quote] You're looking at this backwards. When 'we' started there was no previous generation

http://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/observations/metar/stations/%1.TXT Replace %1 with the location's METAR code (e.g.; LPPT). Inside the text file is the raw METAR conditions string. I don't think you will be able to change Sysmetrix to use the new location, though. Back then the HTML in the NOAA pages had to be parsed first in order to get at the raw METAR string. Pity Nick abandoned Sysmetrix

If you're on a fence regarding buying Winstep Xtreme, I urge you to take advantage of the promotion, there won't be another for a long time. Also, v18.8 is just about to be released, and it adds support for multiple Shelves (tabbed docks), vertical Shelves, Shelf scaling, and the new Drawers (an hybrid between a single-tab Shelf and a dock). Winstep Xtreme is fully compatible with Windows 10 and UWP apps. <img src="http://www.winstep.net/temp/verticalShelves2.jpg" alt=

You can try it now (there's a link to it on my post) and you can give me some feedback. I tried making it a mix between a GUI for making themes and a themes tutorial. I think only WB has a Theme Builder, which is essential for WB given its current complexity. Winstep applications used to be the exception too. Anyway, most if not all of the other skinnable applications are skinned by editing ini files directly. The problem is always the same, though: a total lack of documentati

That would be my fault. Winstep Xtreme is not hard to skin at all (especially not when compared to the hundreds of objects you need to skin in WB) and it used to have a built-in GUI for making themes. Some years ago there was a total UI make-over and I decided to remove the skinning settings - very few people make skins, so those options were mostly clutter to the vast majority of users. The idea was to make a stand-alone theme builder some time later. In the mean time

I was just cleaning up some old links on the Winstep web site when I noticed that Skinz.org seems to be off the web too (server not found).
