70 C for CPU and 81C for GPU at *idle* are *terrible* temperatures. As soon as your system starts doing anything, it will overheat and eventually crash. The CPU should be protected from physically burning out because it will throttle down once it gets to TjMax, but the system *will* crash and eventually something is going to burn out or melt inside that laptop. Airflow seems to be blocked, you need to get it fixed ASAP.

I see nothing in that description that points to a failing hard drive. Hardware problem yes, but not necessarily the hard drive. Check the temperature of the CPU (with CoreTemp, for instance): dust could have build up on your laptop during all this time, which is now blocking the vents and causing your CPU to overheat when pushed and crash.

Rosco, that's not a problem with Objectdock, it's an issue on how Webdex filters the windows that it shows on that menu. Each icon in ObjectDock is a window with certain attributes set so it doesn't show up on the Taskbar or in Task Manager, according to Microsoft rules. I noticed your vertical Nexus docks are usually pretty wide, so this is just a small reminder that you can decrease the spacing between icons in the dock if you want (Dock Properties -> Appearance -> Icon Spacing button), with separate settings for horizontal and vertical icon spacings. The default is 16 pixels between each icon (8 pixels each side of an icon). Reducing this all the way down to 1 pixel makes for thinner docks and possibly fitting an ext
