I think I still have those logs in a backup somewhere... :) I particularly remember one non-business log where he was chatting up some girl and tries to impress her by stating out of the blue how 'he had just fired someone'. The man was obsessed with power, lol. Jan is currently a fugitive from US justice and thought to be living somewhere in the Ukraine... Remember those fake 'your computer is infected' and 'your PC is being scanned' pop ups, a few years ago,

Well, there you go. Glad I was able to at least point you in the right direction (even though it wasn't what I thought it might be). :-)
I've been with Wincustomize since 3/25/2001 and I'm member number 261. :) For those who still don't know the story, at the end of the year 2000 Wincustomize still did not exist and Skinz.org was *the* place to be, as Customize.org had been before that. Windows customization was still very much a niche market and the dot.com bubble had just burst. <a href="http://Skinz.org
If that doesn't solve it, note that the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shellex\IconHandler blank icon fix is for *executable* (.exe) files only. For .doc files, here is what you can try: Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.doc Look at the (Default) entry in the right panel, it will have something stored in it (here it's Word.Document.8). Taking Word.Document.8 as the example, the next step would be to go to see if the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Word.Document.8\shellex\IconHan

I was 18 just the other day, lol. Thanks to all the booze (alcohol preserves) I swear I don't look a day older than 44. :-P
Gizmoid, if you use a nexus overlay bitmap for the dock, the reflection of the first icon will not overlap the little corn thingy, and you can use a smaller margin too... :-P
Winstep also redirects to Cnet's Download.com, and probably for the same reason Stardock does: not because we're cheap or we're trying to save bandwidth usage, but because Download.com is essentially the only download site that is still visited by millions of users. By focusing and re-directing to Download.com, Winstep and Stardock applications climb up to the top places on their 'most popular' charts, and thus become more visible to peopl
lol Poor Giz. [e digicons][/e]
Looking at your screenshot there appears to be something wrong with your digital Nexus clock module, by the way. My guess is that the font required to display the time in it was not installed properly for some reason. Try downloading the full version from the Winstep web site again and re-installing it *on top* of your current version (this will not affect your current settings). Don't forget to exit all running Winstep applications before running Setup.

What's going on with the emoticons? e digicons? lol
Two more hours to go then I can finally get some sleep, yay! [e digicons][/e] Thanks for the 'bumps', guys... :)

Well, good, because us 'poor' Europeans need a lot of that. [e digicons][/e]
I think the Upgrade Policy for Winstep Xtreme HERE and the upgrade policy for Nexus Ultimate HERE will answer all your questions. When the time comes for renewal, the software itself will tell you about it, as well as point you to the right direction - pretty simple, really. :) Keep in mind you do NOT have to renew when the software tells you your subscription is up, onl

Blaming technology is just like blaming guns, in my opinion. As for your second phrase, agree 100% that that's part of what is happening. :)
Yeah, I blame him too! :-P
And that. :-P
Personally I don't think everybody should have access to guns, but it's obvious that guns are not the problem. People are, and that's what needs to be addressed: what is causing our kids to go on shooting rampages and people like this Norwegian guy to believe they should play God, what is destroying the concept of family, why are divorce rates so high and why is that accepted as 'normal', why is betraying one's spouse no longer raising eyebrows (something *devastating*

Sorry for only replying now, was away for the weekend with no Internet access (yay!). :) Glad to see the WB update fixed it. Dialogs with sliders in Winstep preference screens are indeed handled in a special way because slider controls have a non-transparent background color and the dialog needs to be sub-classed for the white background to show instead. This must have caused some weird interaction with WB.

Agree completely, Jafo and K10w3. Norwegian police has just reported that at least 80 innocent kids were slaughtered at Utoya by this raving lunatic. This is absolutely insane, evil in its purest form - walking among our own! :(
