For those who want to upgrade from Nexus Ultimate (GOTD or otherwise) to Xtreme: 1. In the top right corner of the About tab of Nexus Ultimate Preferences you should see a 'Upgrade to Xtreme' button. That will take you to the 'Upgrade Nexus Ultimate to Xtreme' order page. 2. Actually AeroPeek is both . Justg making all Windows transparent to show your desktop icons and gadgets under Winstep Xtreme is not very useful, for instance: to start with, you can use the Desktop tab on the Shelf so you can run with a 'clean' desktop (i.e.; no icons or with hidden icons). The new effects are also now available on the Shelf (tabbed dock), new beta comming up soon. [e digicons]:grin:[/e] Also, they have to be actually seen, that video was recorded on my Toshiba laptop and the best the Screen Recorder could do was 5 FPS, which makes everything a bit 'jumpy'. Sigh.

Probably because the large Windows taskbar is still reserving screen space. Set the Windows taskbar to auto-hide before enabling the NextSTART taskbar (or get the v10.8 beta which already fixes this by temporarilly setting the Windows taskbar to auto-hide before replacing it with the NextSTART taskbar).

Guys, if you really want SPEED, what you want to do is get 3 low capacity SSDs (e.g.; Intel 80 GB) and RAID 0 them. Capacity triples (so 3 x 80GB SSDs in RAID 0 is the same as running a single 240 GB SSD) but so does SPEED, as SSDs in RAID 0, unlike hard disks, scale in a linear fashion.
