It has that "next-gen" feel that mostly disappeared around 2012 when Microsoft introduced Windows 8 and everything became flat and lifeless.
Thanks! :)
Here it bes...
Ok, there is something weird about that entry. How did you add it to the Drawer? Is it pointing to a shortcut to a folder instead of directly to the folder? Try changing its type fr
Got the update this morning. Only one problem. When I right click on a folder in a drawer, see screenie, there's no option to create a grid stack. I can insert one but not create one.
Hard to figure out from the screenshot: what is the type of that particular Drawer? Regular, Folder? EDIT: Never mind, it's obviously Regular type. Can you post a screenshot of that folder's Drawer Entry Properties dialog, please?

Nobody is exempt from it unless they use a Mac or Linux.
Mac user's aren't much better than us - but at least they're used to it, it's what they signed up for. When I chose Windows I didn't sign up for any of this.
Jorge, perhaps you need to go to Microsoft and teach them how to put in a little checkbox that says "Notify me of beta (test) versions" [e digicons];)[/e]
LOL. They would do that and then completely ignore whatever the user set it to and start shoving alphas down our throats. :) Oh wait. They already do that. [e digicons]}:)[/e]

Am I the only one that feels that it's not just Microsoft, but the whole word that is slowly going insane? The amount of blind stupidity and, most of all, arrogance in what Microsoft has been doing since Windows 8.x is - at least to me - simply mind blowing. It's not that Microsoft wasn't always evil - everyone who ever got into bed with them ended up regretting it deeply later - but this is a whole new level of evil. I think even Stardock very nearly found this out with XP an

Thanks, RB! :) As for cost, it is as you said: it is cheaper than a single night out. But while going out will leave you with nothing but memories and an empty stomach that needs to be filled again the next morning, the Winstep application will be right there for you, day in, day out, for a very long time to come. It's the type of application you use every single day to enhance your productivity - and I may be biased in saying this, but it's not only beautiful to look at as yo
Ok I got it now. I know about the drop down box it wasn't showing up before. I restarted Nexus and they showed up. After messing with it last night I now have 3 entries of each. I only see them for the docks, this doesn't work for the shelf?
No. The Winstep Shelf is currently not compatible with OD tabbed dock skins. Most likely something I will work on eventually. :)
I want to apply an Object Dock skin, but I can't import it to the themes. I tried to add it as a .zip and an xtreme file. I know there are 4 folders in the zip and I tried to import each one. Didn't work.
Just tried it here, and after importing the original zip file I have four new entries (all of them functional) in the 'Dock Themes' category of the Themes tab in Preferences: Midnight_Tab1 , Midnight_Tile1a
Believe it or not this I already done. But its from within the shelf, not a short cut. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Yeah, but that is an actual folder inside the Documents folder. What this relates to is shortcuts (.lnk files) to folders being treated as actual folders in this beta.

Ok, new beta is out. This, among other misc.additions and fixes, adds support for: 1. Invoking Grid Stacks from NextSTART. 2. Opening shortcuts to folders as Grid Stacks. 3. Automatic multi-monitor/screen resolution profiles. 4. Proper centering plus left and right justifying of tabs in themes that did not previously support this. 5. Fixed disabling menu and shelf scaling on high DPI systems not working properly. 6. Fixed the minimum width calculation
