Which is a pity, as I would like to watch them get sued to see if this forced updates every 6 months without proper QA testing madness stops. Small heads up: v18.10 will be released tomorrow (October 9th) and on the 12th Winstep will increase the prices of all it's applications and subscription renewals. Read more about it HERE . Among many other things, v18.10 supports icon colorization, centering of icons in the Shelf (tabbed dock), and manual scaling of menus up to 200%. The brand new Winstep Office theme will also be updated after the v18.1

Apple and MS are two sides of the same coin. If you want to escape the craziness, you need to go to Linux. ... and this would have been true until a month ago. Unfortunately it seems that SJWs and political correctness (PC) have gotten to Linux too, leading to Linux creator Linus Torvalds stepping away from Linux kernel development and an all out war between the politically correct and the non politically-correct Linux developer

The mind blowing thing is that several Windows Insiders had already WARNED Microsoft that the upcoming build was deleting data. Microsoft doesn't even listen to their own beta testers - not even on such a critical issue as data loss!!!! One has to wonder if they've all gone insane down at Redmond.

So, the Windows upgrade seems to be deleting user data for some users (basically because MS fired most of their QA department to save some bucks while at the same time enforcing major updates twice a year that are beta tested by normal users), and Apple's New Proprietary Software Locks kill independent repair on new MacBook Pros. It totally locks down the system if an unauthorized repair is even attempted. I have NEVER seen such a blatant disrespect for consumers as I am seeing now fr

Wouldn't changing that possibly interfere/change the position of Wincustomize in Google searches? Personally I'm always weary of changing stuff like that on the Winstep web site, you never know what kind of impact that will have on Google searches.

You just extract the dominant color of the image, and that will work most of the time. For instance, Winstep has the ability to automatically colorize the current theme (and in the next release even the icons themselves) with the dominant color of the current desktop wallpaper background. It does this b
