Entertainment Centers are linked into the "vanilla" morale tech tree and will auto-upgrade with them. The Drathian morale temple perhaps couldn't be linked to upgrade to it due to coding that says X upgrades to Y...and that's it.

Yes and sadly, on a PQ7 planet that you want both of those buildings, you'll only have 4 tiles left since the colony itself uses 1 tile.
First off, let me tell you that next week when you get TA, it'll still be in beta testing. Not all races will be implemented, or still very rough if it's their first week. Thalans and Alterans still aren't in the game. Second off, Drath may be your cup of tea due to their super ability helps them set others to war. This would be the same as back in DA though. The races in TA have gotten tweaks, but for the most part, each race's flavor hasn't changed too much since DA. The Krynn go
Well, 3C's Creativity is meant to finish the current tech, so THAT part of it seems to work. The oddity of Tech Victory not clicking after the "proc" however would be a bug as long as you make double-sure you didn't have tech victory turned off.
With good focus on your offense/defense techs you can pick off the pirate's from the mega event. The minor event pirates are nothing in comparison to the crushing power the mega pirate event is. Peace keepers are just as bad IMHO. I personally love to take out the pirates in my territory, then leave my opponents have to deal with their's as they all give me tribute since my navy shadows theirs :) Even if it's just that I clear out a sector or 2 and the other pirates don't notice my f
It's not just miniaturization I think, but a betterment of the engine's output as a whole. Small tweak in output, combined with removing larger parts that aren't needed anymore makes the engine better. These tweaks don't yet make it a whole new engine style, but the things they learn along the way are required to learn the new style of engine. So what they learned in Impulse 2 and 3 they needed to know in order to come up with the concept for the warp drive. It also is there
Also, SPACE will burn all movement points left for that ship while it stays in place...then if you got a ship with movement points left it'll switch over to that.
Privateer existed in earlier versions of TA- if it was that, then those races would still be able to build it. The Korx thing was not the privateer- and it is not nearly as powerful.
I haven't gotten to see it personally yet, but from what I saw in the change log, it seemed like it wouldn't allow the trade route to collapse after the freighter got killed 3 times. So, instead of invulnerable freighters, it just makes the route un-collapsible.
So it's still noting too different than the Mass Driver invasion option? "Things coming from space hitting the planet".
Aye, I haven't seen anything new added to the ethics end of things.
Then what is 0.92[b].004?? that is what I'm showing available An even newer version.
With a bug fix that kept miners on automate stuck to asteroids that happened in 0.92(b).003
Thats the updated/fixed 3C. 092(b).003 was 3C with a "automate miner" bug.

The trade goods I think are like that, but tech can be handed off after you bought it from another. Now, if you turn tech trading off...there is no sales of tech....period.
Aye, the influence victory still has the strings attached of a conquest victory that you need a navy to keep people sedated from shooting at you.
This could be interesting... The first thing that comes to mind is the plague event. It's always bugged me that the Yor are effected. If this were implemented the plague event could be taylored so only certain races are effected. Other events, such as a computer virus for the Yor, could be created to spread the love...so to speak.
In TA, the Yor are immune to the plague event :)
You were playing with Beta 3a; I wonder if the behavior would be different in Beta 3b. Did you destroy any of your other planets in turns before you destroyed your Homeworld?
Yes and no. I just went thru the colony screen and destroyed all my other planets until it was just 1 system left in the galaxy with habitated planets. 1 planet was mine, 1 was the Torians and 1 was the Terrans. In one star explosion I removed all sentient life in the galaxy. The game wa
I'll be find so long as you tell us about what is going to be in beta 3c.
Looking at the recent release of the Drath & Korx back stories....I'd have to go with Drath & Korx.
C'mon man, where's the NERDS???
Survival of the fittest killed them off? Or more likely, they were the Precursors...
think that it might be that Stardock changed the date for the release of TA. It was supposed to come out this month, if it hadn't gotten changed because everyone wanted more "polish" on the game instead of using lots of updates later.
So then...that would mean that it's OUR fault that Gamespot's site is wrong! Darn us?
think we're talking about the website GAMESPOT not the store GAMESTOP.
Aye...my bad. Coffee hadn't kicked in when I read the OP. Same letters are involved though ~shrugs sheepishly~
Typical for game stores. My personal fav though was the approximately 9 months they were off on the 1st WoW expansion. They were purely making up dates, not running off of release dates that were said by the developers. Things like this cause me to dislike game stores anymore. Digital Download? Yes, please, thank you.
I always imagine it as them translating the texts contained within their Precursor Archives/Libraries. Who needs research when you have all the knowledge of the universe at your fingertips? You just have to learn how to read it. Of course, much of the Knowledge contained within those Archives was lost, but the point remains.
Aye, I took it that the tech they start off with they were shown how to make. However they are incapable of making something better without
It's horridly time intensive though. I was totally ignoring any sort of score upon winning in this game. A) I was just worrying about testing the Iconians and B) I wanted to blow everything up with the TS. This game just may end with 1 system remaining, a planet of mine and another race...and blowing it up....just to see what the victory/loss condition will say. If I remember I just said that, I'll repost it in here.
[img]http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg274/loupdinou
Any race currently released in the Beta for ToA has had it. Does that mean SD may remove that tech tree from a race not yet released...I'm unsure. The AoE is about 3 or 4 parsecs. About the range that all the planets in the system are. Any...ANY other ships/asteroids/bases will be decimated. The TS will remain, the planets will turn into asteroids. It has to be comical in my game when the TS reaches the adjacent parsec from the star as any escort ship that was pacifying the planet'
