Confused in Strategies GalCiv2 Forums

Hi... Im new here and to the game so forgive me. I never even heard of it, and just pickd it because I had money to blow and didnt have a big selection to choose from. Ok... I Just have a few questions about how to play and the point of the game... The first thing I would like to say is, When I first start the game, I just plop down all the building things before I even do my first turn. Should I do this? Also, everytime I get another planet, I do the same thing....so all my planets hav
