It's true I normally have Fridays off. But, due to the weather Monday, work is allowing us who had to miss due to the weather, to make up the time instead of taking personal time off. So.. Since it is only middle of January, I'm taking the time to work & saving the tiime off. So,, that means I have to crawl out of bed at 5:00 or so am and put in 8 hrs.. I
I have 2 grandchildren. That will be it..lol Daughter has said no more and hubby agreed. Physically daughter shouldn't have had last one.. but so glad she did..she had a hard pregnancy w/ both.. but they are here & both healthy. I'll probably fly out in about 2 weeks, when things calm down a bit... Then I can really spoil them!

Ok.. I didn't win the lottery, so had to go to work. No big deal.. same thing. If I ever do win the lottery I'll probably loose the ticket and never know it.. or misplace the ticket till it expires. I so agree w/ all of the above. I love 4WD for getting unstuck... but why can't people use their heads and realize it doesn't work on ice.. oh yeah.. of course... they would have to use their heads!

After the driving you've done through the ice etc., you deserve a break. Kick back, put in a dvd, and knit away ! Relaxation is important.. and from the sounds of your schedule lately, you haven't had a lot of that!
Glad you made it past the ice. Snow can be dealt with soo much easier than ice. That massager sounds wonderful. Sitting for the hours you do that should help your hip. Plus the warmth in this kind of wether is a plus. The beard looks nice. Hope your day goes well, and that the snow doesn't pile up too high.
While a large percentage of people have the day off, I get to to work! While I was off work last week, today being a Federal Holiday, I get to go to work!. I would love to take the day off, using sick leave.. but as I only have 40 hours for the rest of the year, I'll bundle up against the cold,and brave the icy streets. Watch as you go through KC, really bad sleet and ice on roads. We had sleet falling for over 2 hrs here. So please.. slide the right way ok? I agree on slow traffic stay in right lane, lol In TX they have signs advising you to do that,and I believe it is a fine to hamper traffic in the fast lane there. To bad you had to put up with it.
