I've seen the exact same problem just when I got the game. First off, I changed resolution to 1280x1024 and restarted - everything ok. After playing some and game became sluggish, I turned down AA to 0 and restarted - still ok. Playing some more and game still sluggish, I dumped video presets (?) from High to Mid, turned AA back to 0, and restarted - problem occurred. I looked into prefs.ini and resolution was still 1280x1024. After some time I deleted prefs.ini and started the game once again

Hi, I'm considering buying GalCiv2 Gold online and just wanted this confirmed: 1) I get a link to the game itself and a serial - i.e. no need to install StarDock Central? 2) The Gold edition is patched up to the latest version? 3) Later patches will be available on the Downloads page - again no need to install SDC? /Mikael

I'd also like to move the "My Games" folder. I'm running a danish version of XP, so having an english named folder in "Dokumenter" ("My Documents") looks slightly odd I already have an "Spil" ("Games") folder in "Dokumenter" and would really like to move "My Games\GalCiv2" to "Spil\GalCiv2". That's not possible? Perhaps by tweaking some registry setting? (As for "My Games" bei
