a bunch of sounds can be found here http://www.wavevents.com/index.htm
it is carbon monoxide and that comes from US humans burning fossil feuls. I've read a number of sources that suggest bovine flatulance is by far a bigger problem than auto exaust. who is funding the research?
I like your stuff Adam and am looking forward to your return. White Moth - your walls are dang cool too! Simple but interesting. I think I have most of them.
I get the sense that the admin's get way more than their share of snotty comments. "It's a wonder they're sane at all" I think it speaks highly of their commitment that they stay as polite as they do.
I feel for you Kevin. The bookstore at our college ran out of pre-sold copies in an hour and a half! You know what though - they're good. Even for an old twit like me!
Have you cross-referenced your account?
And yeah, T-man is a quiet, unsung but oh so important behind the scenes hero (too strong?) He does do a lot to keep this working so here's to you too. ** thread hi-jacking alert** sorry Shmoopy, that's the second time I've done this to you. Pout and puppy eyes icons here
I'll agree. Here's to Jafo. More than anyone, he seems to be the guide and "cop" on the boards. I don't mean that in a bad way at all. I can't even imagine how he finds the time. Again, here's to you.
That hasn't been implemented yet. Patience grasshopper [Message Edited]
feline: it is very little use jumping up and down on people who know no better, simply because they have given a short and uninformative comment. that isn't going to help anyone. I do think the notion of guidelines is a good one and should be implemented. OTOH, the truly nasty comments (and I think that's been the focus here) are made by people w
I understood that, just felt the point needed to be made. You've always shown yourself to be a gentleman and I appreciate your work and your comments. Nice design on your website too!
Politicians try to avoid things that make conflicts between certain communities of ppl, such as the scientific community which is already on shaky grounds with politicians SHC, you just got to listen to the rehetoric of Mister Klein - he's all about conflict
GH: I think the users have things the wrong way round. They somehow feel that us skinners owe them something for the time they've taken to look at your work While I support pretty much everything you've said, I take umbriage here. With the exception of admittedly more than a few trolls, skin comments and messages show, I think, rather a lot of su
Done! Jamacia Blue Mountain ok with you?
Abject apologies to DM, much grovelling and offer of beer! Further apologies to Shmoopy for thread hi-jacking. Time to go
/me lashes DM with a wet noodle.
The lady is right so far as it goes - nobody can make something that appeals to everyone. However there are some truly awesome (awfully good ) stuff on this site that I don't use because it doesn't appeal to me personally or because it's enough like something else I have that I don't choose to use it. That's a whole bunch different than "sux", at least IMO. That isn't "TRUTH" nor is a skinner
:CONGRATS:
Round 1 done after finding out about the 2nd guy. Round 2 requires dodging overhands and stuff. Not good, not good at all.
They're all good and I'd be please to use any. I would agree that the green is a bit much for the copper skin. The work in dinksDX is mind-boggling!
were they looking to release ownership of the original product (including deleting any/all copies of the original product that they had)? yeah, right! <img src="http://im
Well I, for one, am glad you started it. As time permits, I might just give it another go. Cheers
It relates to a time-out code on a beta release that was left in by accident. Long (very, very long) discussion on the newsgroups server if you're feeling particularly masochistic.
