Happy Birthday!

It'a separate program. If you want to play it safe, stick with Componenet Manager for now. If you're like the rest of us (and I know you are), half the fun here is working through the game!
I'm not really much good at this sort of stuff either and not much of a poster here but if it's not too late to add to the card, please. Fuzzy, we're thinking of you and hope your operation and recovery go well. It's times like this when God reminds you of what's important in life. Get well <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBrows
and the unofficial checker of the spelling.
Sigh. I understand you've put a lot of effort into your work and are concerned about how it is viewed. This comes up over and over again - as Jafo said, the topic gets a tad tiresome. Now that I've offended you completely (but unintentionally), I should point out that the only people that seem to be concerned about ratings is the artist, at least in my opinion and from what I've seen. If I like it, I use it. If not, I don't. Not liking a work doesn't mean I think badly of it, just t
You can get anything you want at Alice's restaurant - except Alice. Arlo Guthrie and the Alice's Restaurant Masacree. Speaking of Wabbit hunting season - they've chopped it so badly cutting out the violence that it no longer makes any sense at all! (at least here in Canada). <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/s
If you don't get a letter saying it was accepted, you know. Why? There's a rather long discussion of this topic in the news section that explains the logic pretty well. Short version - not sending letters of rejection (for want of a better phrase) cuts down on the abuse the volunteers take.
If I recall from the newsgroup discussions, MS requires the skin changes to classic mode before the application of a new skin. This occurs even when using the MS Luna skins and can't be jimmied by WB.
Good to see you back - you've got to be the most upbeat person I know!
Interesting thought comes to mind. Karmagirl expresses thanks for the kind words about their company (Stardock). The sense of community and caring from SD comes out so often (witness the frog's question to the community about WB4 and XP in the newsgroup) that I sometimes forget that my subscription is payment to a company for goods and services. It seems more like membership dues in a favorite club! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl
A little rubber thing! Can we get one now?
Absolutely nothing fancy here but it does what it's supposed to do - give information to my students to help them with their courses. http://members.shaw.ca/gwall
Eric the half-a-bee. /me sings somewhat out of tune.
I too missed the fracas and wouldn't dream of making a judgement or taking sides. THat said, I think AngEla is way cool and I'll miss her input. However, I have the utmost respect for the admins on this board and am quite sure no decisions were made easily or in haste. Sad situation. <img src="http://images.stardo
Hilarious! or is that Hylareous, or Hilareous. We need a Jafo button!
As a Canadian, I've been following politics here for more decades than I'd like to admit. Personally I thought "polution = politition" was pretty accurate except it should have been pollution. How about Sheila Copps for PM. After Banff, she could dig up the Great Lakes. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles
Happy Birthday Boxxi! Only 60 more BD's left with any luck!
I ran ad-aware 6, then spy-bot right after. Nothing left on this test but I'll try again over the next few days. If this thread is still active I'll report back.
Just another thought to add - the help files are really well laid out. Just a not so subtle hint for the ODNT stuff.
Great idea Fuzzy! It should at least cut down on some of the trolling. /me has fingers crossed. Phreak notes "Then the next level up, 'Citizen'. And finally 'Deity'?" The pantheon includes Jafo, Janitor T-man, Koasti and of course the frog. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" borde
I couldn't get connected yesterday but it works fine this morning. A little more whizzy than the old version but still simple to use. FWIW, it didn't find anything that Spybot didn't already get. In a day or two, I'll run Ad-Aware, then Spybot. The latter always found stuff that Ad-Aware missed. It will be interesting to see if version 6 fixes that. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=
I had Windows 2k and upgraded. It was the second best thing I ever didfor my macine. (ODNT was the best of course).
Thanks Thornz. That sped things up quite a bit.
I'll bite - how do you turn cleartype off?
Can any of you imagine working without Object Desktop modifications? /me goes of shuddering to get a beer and another skin download!
