FWIW, I've had the same issue with WB6 and SD Central for the last week or so with both my computers. I can access the skin through www.wincustomize.com but not through SDC. I've tried 3 or 4 skins with the same result. Essentially all I get is Windows Classic.

I had an issue with OD+ crashing immediately on opening. SD advised me to clear the cache (there's a link on it somewhere here). If memory serves, delete the ObjectDock folder in your documents and settings\local settings\application data folder

I'd like to get SD's opinion then Zubaz. If that works, I might fill in a few holes in my Bugs soundpack and run it through. I'd sure like to try your StarWars pack. An Indiana Jones theme might be cool as well. In fact, I think the website for the new movie has clips. Checking . . . nope.

Right, that's exactly what is not working on my system and I don't know why. Check in Windows/media and see if the default sounds still exist. They'd be a whole bunch of files like Windows XP . . . (example Windows XP Balloon.wav). If those files are there, its just a matter of picking the right ones.

Apply your last System Restore point. gary's solution is no doubt the quickest. You could open control panel, sounds and manually reset the sounds to system default through there as well. It's tedious but that's how we did it in the old days before this new-fangled SoundPackager.

There's another thread about this. Go to the IP folder and rename iprepair.dll to iprepair.dll.bak and that'll fix it up. This problem drove a few of us nuts - who would have thought IP could screw up explorer.

Newest beta fixes issue - thanks! Sorry Mike, I inadvertently deleted the ticket to tell you through support so I hope this'll do. Great work!

I've got the same problem (sent a ticket to Mike at SD Support - thanks for looking into it). At this point, rolling DX back to the released version is the only thing that's worked for me. IX is the registered version on my box, installed through SDC.
