sounds like a confirmed bug then

Weather dock fly-out doesn't center on the dock but comes out on the left edge of the monitor. I only get the last day of the four. I can't see anything that can be adjusted to correct this.
Customer service stopped mattering the minute their customers decided that they wanted the lowest price REGARDLESS of the customer service. When price trumped customer service, customer service got cut to lower the price to maintain market share. If a majority of people/companies cared about customer service, it would be there. But they don't, they care about price. In a nutshell! Everything has a cost, including customer service. Support is probably
addendum: IconX works fine if DX is unloaded.
I just installed the newest DesktopX (3.49b) and now I'm experiencing problems with IconX (1.11.008). Any attempt at adjustment tells me that changes aren't saved in the shareware version. I'm posting here because the problem only arose after the DX upgrade. I've rebooted twice since.
I don't have any conflict with XP. Probably serves you right for getting the cool dreamscapes!
"You can get anything you want, at Alice's Restaurant - except Alice!"
I don't see anything in Safari that Avant doesn't offer - except Snapback and resizable textboxes. For me, that's a big who cares.
watching them grow and mature. My girls are 20 & 17 now and its cool to see them take responsibility and make adult decisions. All stages are great (even the teen years) each in it's own way.
We had our 25th in April. Congratulations to you!
I get a broken link. I wonder if he's taken it down?
I agree with c242!
@ Lantec!
Is there some way to lock the icons' positions? I find I'm regularly dragging them all over the desktop by accident - then I have trouble finding where I left them as I keep them fairly transparent. Thanks
Happy Birthday Mike!
you're not alone.
If you are trying to run Vista on a PC over 3 years old you deserve every second of trouble you have gotten, plain and simple. Blaming Microsoft for troubles on old computers is like blaming McDonalds because your a fat ass - it makes no sence. however, I'm not going to replace a perfectly good, functioning PC simply to use Vista. I'm not getting the sense that the advantages of Vista justify that kind of outlay.
nikay: re the weather, in Canada I'm finding that my city, province abbreviation (i.e calgary, ab) works. I wonder if something similar might work for Australia? Fuzzy, possibly the same for you?
Thanks Zubaz. It's plus I've got.
OD about shows I'm using version 1.9 but the config is as before, not like the one in the screen shots.
I see the weather docklet still does not pick up Canada put your city and province. for me its Calgary, AB and works fine.
Tabbed dock on top of the screen does occasionaly stay open on vista (32-bit). This has occured in WinXP once in a while as well.
but reality will undoubtedly rear it's ugly head soon enough.
Who mentioned religion..? debates about the environment have the same characteristics as a religious debate. Personally I agree with Koasati but after listening to the high priest of the greenhouse effect, David Suzuki, I'm convinced the greenies aren't interested in facts or scientific debate. That's why I equate the whole topic with religious debate. Just my opinion of course.
