Customer service stopped mattering the minute their customers decided that they wanted the lowest price REGARDLESS of the customer service. When price trumped customer service, customer service got cut to lower the price to maintain market share. If a majority of people/companies cared about customer service, it would be there. I just installed the newest DesktopX (3.49b) and now I'm experiencing problems with IconX (1.11.008). Any attempt at adjustment tells me that changes aren't saved in the shareware version. I'm posting here because the problem only arose after the DX upgrade. I've rebooted twice since.

watching them grow and mature. My girls are 20 & 17 now and its cool to see them take responsibility and make adult decisions. All stages are great (even the teen years) each in it's own way.

Is there some way to lock the icons' positions? I find I'm regularly dragging them all over the desktop by accident - then I have trouble finding where I left them as I keep them fairly transparent. Thanks

If you are trying to run Vista on a PC over 3 years old you deserve every second of trouble you have gotten, plain and simple. Blaming Microsoft for troubles on old computers is like blaming McDonalds because your a fat ass - it makes no sence. however, I'm not going to replace a perfectly good, functioning PC simply to use Vista. I'm not getting the sense that the advantages of Vista justify that kind of outlay.

Who mentioned religion..? debates about the environment have the same characteristics as a religious debate. Personally I agree with Koasati but after listening to the high priest of the greenhouse effect, David Suzuki, I'm convinced the greenies aren't interested in facts or scientific debate. That's why I equate the whole topic with religious debate. Just my opinion of course.
