You need to read the reviews and short though the Fanboys and troll portions of the review to get to the meat of the review. And if you read a lot of them then you can pretty much tell if this game or other product is right for you. Never go by just the review score alwasy read reviews No, not blindly. I read descriptions about the product. "What is this gam

Auto resolve is boring in any game. I fail to see the point in it. Yes I know you don't want to actully fight the minor combats (still don't get this but then I don't suffer from ADD.) Anyway dispite the fact that I will never use auto-resolve I do want it fix since this is how AI fights AI .

Well all my gamer friends will not get the game for a couple of reasons: 1) No MP 2) No sea units of any kind. Once these are put in the game (if ever) then they will get the game (And all of them has said this.) Hey I tried. But with other games lik Warlock, CIV 4 and 5, Shogun 2, and Age of Wonders:SM (oh and Star Wars Online) there is no time for another SP only game in their lives. But I will keep bugging them :)
I honestly think that Warlock - Master of the Arcane is better. It actually achieves what this game was trying to do - interesting combat, the impression that group of heroes goes as company and fights against all odds, and so on. And this is just the game that nearly identical to this one (RPG/Strategy hybrid with magic elements). But also this year we had (what I have on my PC) Guild Wars 2, Diablo III, Torchlight II, and
Although I like MP in games, as a feature to be used or not, in this kind of games, with turns that may last long, and where a match can last hours, or even days, I really prefer the budget to be invested in improving the SP experience (AI and content) rather than on an under-used MP. For a good MP experience, maybe SD should make a game in the Elemental World tunned into RTS (like SOASE, Age Of Empires, Warcraft...), rather than trying

Anyone can see with those numbers that MP isn't worth the effort. Those numbers arent really explained at all, so I dont think you can rely on them
Actually they did an offical poll asking people if they would pay a dollar for multiplayer in Fe and a majority said no IIRC. This game really is not geared to casual multiplayer, considering the settling phase can take hours.
Now I am for MP and I perfer a non-fast pace MP expereance. Since I don't suffer from ADD as many seem to do these days, I want the entire SP expereance when I play SP in ANY GAME. Th

On a related note I can't seem to figure out how to stop units from "exploring" once I tell them to. I also couldn't disband the ship... not sure what is intended here or not. I was able to download the game and watch the debate from Monday at the same time without a problem. But then I did delete FE and deleted the folders then restarted the PC before downloading.

The newest game, AoW II Shadow Magic (from 2002!), is still superior to FE is many aspects, most notably user interface, magic, and tactical battles. I haven't played Fallen Enchantress yet, but I *hope* its magic system is better tha

It's the reason why I can't understand some of the glowing reviews I've seen here. I don't need the latest bleeding edge graphics or art style in my strategy games but the graphics/art in FE are the biggest reason why I'm not all that
Ya, they implemented a tactical battle only match up system that was an interesting idea. But I am referring to the real MP. The strategic MP was a sad state and despite all that DLC money, never once got a single update. I agree that Shogun 2 has a superior format graphics wise for tactical battles. Even using the same strategies over and over seems unique each time because of the complexities of unit formation and the amazing graphics. But the dif
