Quoting TheJaker, reply 15 Sengoku? Really? Well, no Sengoku, no CK2. I saw Sengoku as a test bed (and maybe pre-funding) for CK2. No, I don't play it anymore, but it was well priced for what you got. I put Sengoku in the "Paradox Lite" category that Crown of the North and Two Thrones reside in. Just my two cents. To the OP: I agree Endless Sp

I will say no to this question: Is Fallen Enchantress the best strategy game of modern times? The game is fun now but it still missing aspects that would make it one of the best at lest IMO. First off no sea units of any kind (that is a big negative in my book) I would like to see MP but I know we won't so I won't harp too much this given that I really liked GalCiv2 and it was only SP. (However MP would give the game a few points in my book if done right)
Quoting Bellack, reply 6 I have a lot of Steam games but never had the need to save on the steam cloud since I have a large HD. I've used it for playing same game on my home/work/laptop computers. It's pretty nice, but using dropbox isn't to big a hassle to get similar (but not equal) capability. I don't try to setup saves to dropbox, just make a shortcut to the saves folder on my desk
It doubles the number of sov summons. But other than that, I had to mod it extensively to play the way I think is appropriate.
So what did you add to it?

Well as is with latest update I would not score it as high as CIV V. The game is better than it every was but still has some issue (weak AI, no sea units, primitive TC) I'm not currently noting bugs at this point. so I'll give it a 70 at this point. With current bugs I'd give a a 68. Now this is just the Vanilla game. I'm afraid that it aint going to get much better than this before launch. However with modding and expansions this game will go fr

I understand why they do (just like when people put the end design of WOM on me, I wanted a freaking Master of Magic clone with MP and unit design, one doesn't always get what one wants, the tech, budget, etc. affects things more than most people can imagine). Anyway, FE is definitely a 4X game. If it's no
Excellent preview and very reassuring since we definitely see the same things they see as good (and areas that need to be worked on). Whenever I read a preview, I always worry that there's going to be a set of concerns that are things that don't match what we're trying to do with the game. For instance, imagine a preview that was disappointed because they thought we shouldn't have tech trees (some beta testers made t

I like the challenge of a not so optimal starting location. Sorry but could someone explain to me what CTRL+N does or when you use it? Thanks! And great video BTW. I'm really looking forward
Ok so now that the game is released any chance that we will see a GALCIV3?
If the AI gets better at preparing for battles with Health potions, we need a limit on how much healing it can buy. On Ridiculous, AI get 150000 Gildar to start with, and one of them gets exponential growth with the Treasury Vault. Good luck killing a champion with 100 healing potions.
Shouldn't the healing be limited to what AI can afford?
or just make the champions non killable or make the killed champions respawn with a injury like someone suggested some time ago
Oh no I hate the fact that Champs are non-killable. Personally I think it is stupid that they are immortal however this has been argued to death. I personally would just want a toggle to turn off immortality. And if that is never in the game then I would like to mod it out (if possable
Agreed, but you'd have to limit it somehow. MoM had a hard limit of 6, right? I think that would be fine in FE, but another option would be something like increasing influence/mana costs based on number of existing heroes, etc.
AOW:SM had this as well but it was a random hero. They also had a raise dead hero that brought a random dead hero as an Undead hero (with undead traits on top of his/her normal traits) they al

The only other game I'm having this issue with is SWTOR (though to be fair, right now, I'm not playing a lot of games). But our other WIndows 8 machines it's perfectly normal.
You make some good arguments and if you think about it, Derek Paxton is a great example of someone that turned an epic mod into a resume booster. Now he is doing FE. But monetizing mods would have massive legal liabilities and really limit the content of mods. In much of my quests, I take plots and stories from my favorite shows and books. Quality control and price setting would also be a hassle. And all of this is assuming there would even be a mark
It is ok if you want to delay it another week or two. Take your time
I have been playing this game for a long time and have only seen Wildlands 4 times and I could do nothing with them. So pretty much I assume they were bugged and killed all the players. I think it was the same wildlands because I could not get pass the gate. Could not figure out how to open it. Have no idea which wildland it was.
The only change that I really want to see on most of the high level champions is for them to have all the perks that they would have had if I had recruited them as level 1 champions and developed them to level 5-9 for whatever purpose/skillset that they seem to have been worked towards. As has been said, there are a few high-level champions that are great, but most of them feel like a waste of money - great, you're level 9 and have 3 traits
I don't like this because there are a lot of bad mods out there for games and to pay for a crappy mod would not be fun. No I don't want to pay for mods. And if I made a mod I would want people to play it and charging for it would reduce that number. Many would not pay for community mods.

Dont get me wrong, its a good game right now in many aspects but it certaintly would not be the best game in this genre.
Ugh. So I’m making the monsters move at a different phase than the players so that they do a better job attacking one another. Pain. I have it working. But there’s a cosmetic problem. When the little guys run back to their spot, they get stuck with the running animation. We’ve all seen cases of this before. And we had stomped it out. But this change brings it back with a vengeance. So I’
