I believe that its one PER civ. SO each civ can have their own. And I have never built one. Come to think of it, I've never build any defense structures.

MCC is the Mind Control Center that evil races can build after choosing their evil alignment and the researching one of those yellow techs. In DA all evil races could build it but apparently in TA not all can unless they trade for the proper tech. It was originally intend to make any planets in your area of influence flip immediately when they are ready to as opposed to seeing the skull and cross bones turn after turn after turn. Instead it was giving a 100% bonus to you
I don't know what specifically gives a certain game its rating and I'll assume the OP has accurately described the contents of GTA. I will agree that an AO rating should be triggered earlier than it seems to now. As GTA is the example in question I would have hope that much of its content would have given it an AO rating before. I will not say that the rating system should be "flipped". I'd prefer my kids to see a violent image before a sexual one of equal severity. And, I don't want to
Not that i really want to get into this post BUT... Considering something to be a crime is not necessarily the same as considering it evil. Trespassing is a crime but I'd hardly call it evil and I can't imagine anyone would unless the trespassers are performing other acts that could be called evil. And as far as math goes, i don't know if you can use the term balance. 3x3 = 9 is not balance, its a definition.
When is this going to be fixed for DA? OR will it or has it already?
Actually one of the best things you can do is play the game. Then come here with the questions you have. You can get specific answers to specific questions. Even if there were a good manual, it couldn't get into the finer points of the game. This is a very helpful forum. So feel free to ask what you don';t know and don't apologize for not knowing. Even veteran played have questions or may have never noticed a certain check box before.
See? I never knew that you couldn't pick the launch direction in DL. This can be called a trick or maybe an exploit but its still probably too much of a pain to do anyway. Personally I haven't done this, but... I once took an AI planet that had noting but factory type buildings on it. It was fully developed but didn't have a starport or any other buildings, just factories. So the AI was spending a lot to build nothing. My trick would be to sell / give the AI a planet(s) fu
I guess if we want to get Seth to quit hanging around our Senatorial parties, we are gonna have to elect him as leader.
Or maybe that's what he WANTS us to think... all this time he's been planning to take over by tricking us into electing him. Then we give him emergency power over the entire senate while this crisis exists, but what we don't know is that the crisis itself has been set in motion so that he may achieve his ends. Or did I just see that in a movie?
There is a bit of a disagreement here; do surrenders count against you or not? I think it would have been better to for it to take into account who started the war. If they started it the I should be able to annihilate them, to protect myself from the in the future of course. Or the AI should make some sort of plea for peace before it gets destroyed. I would love to know what goes into a surrender. I had the Torians surrender to the Krynn while they still had like 10 planets le
Actually the real reason is because everytime weelect a new leader they always run off and don't returnso what'sthe point of this senate.
There's supposed to be a point? Apparently the point is to get rid of everyone else one-by-one by making electing each of them as leader...
I hope Jonnan001 gets that jet ski.
I've said it before, I don't think scores should be changed based on victory type. Of course there's nothing that can be done now without changing all past scores. The way i see it, the victory types that have the higher multiplier also have inherent factors for higher scores. That is Conquest victories, which has the highest multiplier, will usually have the largest militaries, and more planets (giving greater populations, economics and resear
Well here's hoping this reply doesn't get lost among the many given here.... and since I don't have TOA I guess I'm speaking for DA mostly. Does anyone know if the Devs are looking at this thread at all?? lol I would like to be able to see the AI tech trees. That is, see what has been researched by them on their tree just like I'd see for my own. The information is already available but difficult to determine without paper and pencil and a lot of screen changes. I've never
I've never tried to get a last planet or planets for peace. At best I'm able to get maybe 2 out of their last 8 for example. So I just keep fighting until I get them all. I wasn't familiar with a diplomacy hit for destroying civs. I have noticed it listed on the factors screen, -tendency to defeat others, or something. Does it affect your trade ability somewhat or just your relations? Do surrenders count as destruction? What if there are multiple wars going on against the
OHHHhhhh so there's at least another half season to go. Explains a lot. I thought they decided to just end the show on that note. Thanks
I'm hoping someone here was a fan of the show, or at least watched it. My interest in it waned but i did catch the last episode, or so i think. My question here is, what was the final episode? I did see the one when they reach Earth and it's all destroyed. But is THAT IT? Was there anything else after that? Thanks in advance.
Torian Ale is made from ... peeeeople. I like that so much gets accomplished at the senate meetings. When do I get to vote again *hic* ?
'Attack pattern delta, engage'
From the episode where the Enterprise meets the Borg? From past posts its been said that tactical combat is not in this game because it would give a human player a huge advantage. I can definitely see that but that might be because i haven't played games that do have it. Why SOSE can have it and not Galciv I don't know. But at least the game goes quicker with combat that you can skip.
I'd like to directly comandeer every single one of my 5 billion soldiers. I want to set up ranks, tactical orders, want to be able to give every single soldier a certain weapon. I want to control the type of descend through the athmosphere, want to set landing points and places and types of inhabitants to attack first. But then, as every living soul on the planet gets killed anyway....I just might use 10000 Neutron bombs and be done with it. well...who cares. The planeta
Well then its just one more tech to research, not a big deal. Unless the AI fails to get it like it sometimes does with disease cure.
First I'm glad someone else asked about that tread because I too wondered where it went but didn't know how to ask without actually bringing it up again. I'm glad too that its being looked at. On any size map, its cheating. As far as when to know what to say or not. It can be hard to determine that. I don't know if I've even seen anything that's an exploit but I've even kept some questions to myself that could lead to people taking advantage of a game mechanic that isn't suppo
Having the AI declare war on you isn't always something you can "make" happen especially if you have a strong military. Just like sometimes its near impossible to get close relations. Parking fleets I think is a minor thing to them and they don't really seem to treat their home planet any different than others. I guess what you want is for your relations with them to get worse. Look at the "Report" screen under foreign relations and see where your pluses are and try to make those go awa
This question has come to me before but I never got around to finding out the answer. Although I'm pretty sure of it. When you trade techs, will you lose the inherent bonuses on techs that get skipped? That is, if i get warp 2 and skip warp, will I lose that +10 to speed that warp gives? Same as for and techs with built in bonuses. It occurred to me that since the AI probably doesn't go backward on the tech tree you could trade it for a better tech but hurt it by remov
Maybe each planet invasion should be its own RTS game. Just Kidding... or am I?
Isn't "Night's Dawn" a bit of an oxymoron?
Nooooo, just like Bon Jovi says... Every rose has a thorn and every night has a dawn. I can't believe i quoted that song, i feel yucky now.
