That anomaly doing nothing bug happens to be at specific moment: I clicked Turn Enter the extended turn due to a ship/fleet having movement left It moves the pop-up happens and during that the AI starts its turns As far as I can tell it never happen during my full turn I think this is more a GalCiv3/Crusade problem. Something the AI turn also slow down by a a lot due to that.

You can put your edited into a mod folder and than hope that they load. [...]\My Games\GC3Crusade\Mods\[ModName]\Text I was able to kind of fix my problem! I "verified" my game files again (I already did it after an update yesterday or so) I downloaded files again I started the game and it

My steam is set to English, the game is set to English, the Operating System is in German. I use Crusade and I use the Crusade Mod folder. The mods themselves (the downloaded, too) work. The text.xml files simply don't and in the game I always get these xxx_Name and xxx_ShortDec fragments instead of the actual text. That is the part that is so odd for me. All the changes work (i.e. New Colonisation Events, Different Anomalies, new Improvements). I didn't change anything

I use mod folders and separate text files. It simply displays xxx_Name, xxx_ShortDec, xxx_Dec instead of the actual text. My game is somehow unable to find these files. The content changes work fine. Text files of mods that I have downloaded don't work either (i.e. the anomaly or colonisation event mod).

Whenever I use mods the text.xml files of the mods are completely ignored. I trieded to verify the game data, I tries "use localized data" on/off and I tried different paths for the files (text or englisch/text). I'm also not sure if I should post this here or on the support forum. It felt more like a modding problem (or something simple that I missed).

Sorry, but that isn't true. It sucked because of the too early release. They should have given it 2 more month. The funny part of the patch is the illusion monolith bug that should be fixed but isn't really fixed. I can only hope that Relic will release 1.2 much more faster and with serious balance changes. These orc changes are just funny ... :P

Hm, let me think. Far Cry 2 is pure Eye Candy while Left 4 Dead is a Valve game, which mean a nice single player mode. Okay, that won't work lets take a closer look. Far Cry 2 uses SecoROM which mean it is death for me. Left 4 Dead uses steam which lead to the same.

Hm, the preview writers are writing good words about it. Of cause you can't bet on such thing, they oft hype games ... So, the only way to find it out is to wait for the release and first reviews from player's and not any lind of magazines.

I have thought a bit about my answer for this topic, simply because I think it is important to think and talk about it. I don't have problems with activations itself, BUT I have a problem if they require an active internet connection, when you want to install it. From what I have read you need one for Spore. Now let us compare it with GCII. We need an activation to play it or for upgrades, but I'm not force to have a connection when I'm going to install it. I get even a manual how I c
