I had the same problem with any dynamic dream. It started when I loaded the following Nvidia video drivers... GeForce Release 175 WHQL Version: 175.16 Release Date: May 16, 2008 Operating System: Windows Vista 32-bit I also had random system lock ups when WindowsBlinds 6.10.081 installed. When I uninstalled WindowsBlinds the lock ups stopped. To fix it I uninstalled the video drivers and installed the following drivers...

Some of us have been waiting patiently for over a year now. I don't think waiting a little longer is big of a deal. I'm sure when it's ready, it will be realesed.
Others are having this problem and I have yet to read about a fix. There's a [link="https://forums.wincustomize.com/311029"][color="#0000FF"][B]"Official Support Thread"[/B][/color][/link] that you should post your problem in and you can also create a tech support ticket on it.
Mirroring is ok but remember, if you have real time mirroring on and you do something to screw up your system, your mirror will be screwed up also. I find it better to use a backup utility and do a complete back up weekly. That way if I make changes, I have a few days for problems to show up. I can then restore my known good backup. If you have Vista Ultimate, you all ready have a full backup utility that you can configure to back up your system automatically.

I use XP on my work system, Vista on 3 of my 4 home PCs and Server 2003 on the remaining system. Personally, I prefer Vista by far as it is the faster of the 3 OSs I use. One things for sure, Vista will replace XP. Dell has stopped selling XP loaded systems and other manufacturers will soon follow. Like it or not, XP is on it's way out.
With Ultimate you should be ok for the built in mpeg2 codec. Not sure about all of those dreams but these 3 are mpeg2. PurBluSmoke SpaceClouds1 SpaceClouds2 You may still have a codec issue though as you could have one conflicting. To rule that out follow the steps in the MPEG-2 Video Codec section of the [link="https://www.stardock.com/products/deskscapes/faq.asp"][color="#0000FF"][B][U]DeskScapes Troubleshooting Tips[/U][/B][/color][/link].
