For some reason when I rebooted my system my WindowBlinds would not run. I reinstalled and now it's telling me I have maxed out my activations. Can someone please reset this for me? Thanks, CarGuy1

If no one else is doing a dream for this suite, can someone email me a copy of the wall so I can create one out of it? I created one from the copy I found in the thread but the resolution is too low. Thanks. [link="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADqdrkhNtbY"]Boxxi 100 Dream[/link]
Zubaz, I see Pugboy was doing the Vista Logon for this but he hasn't been logged on since 4/22. Since he's MIA, I was going to do a couple from the wall in the graphics package..one with confetti added (like the Dream) and one without. Is this ok or does someone else have the Vista Logons covered?
Damn Po...that's funny. /me scambles to delete all pictures of himself on Wincustomize)
Also does it matter if I install 32-bit apps after the 64-bit is on system or does it matter?
You should have no problems running your 32 bit apps. One thing, if your 32 bit app has a 16 bit installer you will not be able to install the program. 16bit programs will not run on a 64bit system. You may be able to install them on a 32 bit system and copy the program over to your 64 bit system but if the program writes to the regestry during install you will run into
You need to install the preview if you do not have the Ultimate edition of Vista. The free version, 1.02, is only for the Ultimate Edition and you will get the "cant find vista" message if you try to install it on anything else.
Hey CarGuy1, where'd you get that clock gadget?
Here's a list of all of them. The clock has a lot of color choices also. Now that's funny. 20 times, eh?
Try running the water dream or the bouncing box dream that came with the program and see if they work. They are dynamic dreams and do not requier a video codec. You can also try a dream made with a WMV to see if it runs. Off the top of my head the only one I can think of is my Froggy dream, but there are other ones out there. If those work, it's a safe bet your having codec issues with MPEG 2 video since Solar Flare is a MPEG 2 dream. Alot of video dreams are made from MPEG 2 vide
wow, thats funny.. My bad.
I snickered at the irony of that myself.
They give you a 64 bit edition disc that you can upgrade your version with. You can run the upgrade on the system you want to install it on from inside Windows and it will reboot and do a clean install. Keep in mind, you can upgrade any version of vista with a vista upgrade disc.
Yes I concur, you must do a clean install. I was just wondering if the driver issues have been worked out for most hardware. Since I already have the 64 bit edition, think I'll install it this week end and see how it goes. At the worst, if it doesn't work out well I can check out the complete system restore that Ultimate comes with. Does anyone know if there are problems with any Object Desktop components not working correctly?
I ran the 64 bit version of XP and it ran great. I moved to the 64 bit edition of Vista when it came out last year and had alot of driver issues so I ended up installing the 32 bit version. I understand that the drivers have matured over the past year so I am concidering taking the plunge into the abyss again. Yrag...what's your opinion, have the kinks been worked out yet?
Have a great holiday everyone. :CONGRAT:

Here's mine...a preview of the new Happy Birthday Suite Dream - "Confetti".
Here's a preview of the new dream. As usual, You Tube messed up the quality. [link="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbALx77aQmA"]Happy Birthday Confetti Dream[/link]
Now, now, Vulcans are supposed to be able to control thier emotions. ;) It does piss you off, though.
Does moving to a 64 bit platform help in Vue? I was thinking about installing the 64 bit edition of Vista Ultimate on my next reload and I know that 3Ds Max has a 64 bit edition but I'm not sure if Vue does. Edit: I found out that Vue 6 Infinite & Vue 6 xStream does have a 64 bit edition. Has anyone tried it and have you noticed a speed increase in rendering to make it worth a reinstall? Ken...thanks for the tips.
Ooberman...nicely done. :CONGRAT: I would also like to add that it was an honor to be picked as one of the finalists. :)
AV...thanks :CONGRAT: I'll keep an eye out for your release and upload the Dream to release around the same time.
AV, I created another Dream for this suite and I used the wall out of the supplied graphics from your site. It is a confetti style Dream with your wall as a background. I'm not sure if I need to ask since it's a community project but can I have your permission to use the wall?
mommaTee...it's more like a few trojans took a "byte" out of your computer. ;) Glad you back up and runnin'. :)
Zoomba...who won the Desktop Screenshots contest last month?
This post will help get you started making dreams. [link="https://forums.wincustomize.com/305857"]How to create Dreams (links)[/link] To get video to loop with Windows movie maker is easy. You have to have a transition that fades from one segment to the next. Here's an easy way to do a 10 second clip...take your video clip and cut it into 2 equal parts and name the first one #2 and the second one # 1. Move those into movie maker and choose about 2 seconds or so of fade f
