Also does it matter if I install 32-bit apps after the 64-bit is on system or does it matter?
You should have no problems running your 32 bit apps. One thing, if your 32 bit app has a 16 bit installer you will not be able to install the program. 16bit programs will not run on a 64bit system. You may be able to install them on a 32 bit system and copy the program over to your 64 bit system but if the program writes to the regestry during install you will run into

You need to install the preview if you do not have the Ultimate edition of Vista. The free version, 1.02, is only for the Ultimate Edition and you will get the "cant find vista" message if you try to install it on anything else.

Try running the water dream or the bouncing box dream that came with the program and see if they work. They are dynamic dreams and do not requier a video codec. You can also try a dream made with a WMV to see if it runs. Off the top of my head the only one I can think of is my Froggy dream, but there are other ones out there. If those work, it's a safe bet your having codec issues with MPEG 2 video since Solar Flare is a MPEG 2 dream. Alot of video dreams are made from MPEG 2 vide

They give you a 64 bit edition disc that you can upgrade your version with. You can run the upgrade on the system you want to install it on from inside Windows and it will reboot and do a clean install. Keep in mind, you can upgrade any version of vista with a vista upgrade disc.

Yes I concur, you must do a clean install. I was just wondering if the driver issues have been worked out for most hardware. Since I already have the 64 bit edition, think I'll install it this week end and see how it goes. At the worst, if it doesn't work out well I can check out the complete system restore that Ultimate comes with. Does anyone know if there are problems with any Object Desktop components not working correctly?

I ran the 64 bit version of XP and it ran great. I moved to the 64 bit edition of Vista when it came out last year and had alot of driver issues so I ended up installing the 32 bit version. I understand that the drivers have matured over the past year so I am concidering taking the plunge into the abyss again. Yrag...what's your opinion, have the kinks been worked out yet?

Does moving to a 64 bit platform help in Vue? I was thinking about installing the 64 bit edition of Vista Ultimate on my next reload and I know that 3Ds Max has a 64 bit edition but I'm not sure if Vue does. Edit: I found out that Vue 6 Infinite & Vue 6 xStream does have a 64 bit edition. Has anyone tried it and have you noticed a speed increase in rendering to make it worth a reinstall? Ken...thanks for the tips.

This post will help get you started making dreams. [link="https://forums.wincustomize.com/305857"]How to create Dreams (links)[/link] To get video to loop with Windows movie maker is easy. You have to have a transition that fades from one segment to the next. Here's an easy way to do a 10 second clip...take your video clip and cut it into 2 equal parts and name the first one #2 and the second one # 1. Move those into movie maker and choose about 2 seconds or so of fade f
