gardenerstouch...sounds like the perfect opportunity for you to learn DesktopX and create some. Then you could upload them and help the community. :CONGRAT:

Kitty, I going to send you a cropped screen of the Dream. Please make sure to credit PuterDudeJim since it's his wall that I added a lighting effect to. If you would like an advance copy of the dream, I can send you a link to download it from.
Did I miss something? Is this you, kitty? Name change? Cool.....
I notice she does this occasionally...perhaps it's a Jekyll and Hyde thing. ;)
What dream are you running? Ones that are made from WMV videos use a bit more CPU than ones created from MPEG videos. Have you tried the dynamic dreams such as the Water dream and do they use less CPU? There are other variables that will also effect CPU useage. Frame rate, bit rate, and resolution of a video dream will be a factor. Your MPEG 2 codec, the video card that you are running, amount of on board video memory and type, and drivers themself will also play a part of how much
Questions on skin comparisons are best done by PM to the moderator of that gallery and not in the forums. By singling out member in the comparison it just creates ill will, which I‘m sure was not your intention.
I notice the same thing with dreams. They look lighter and washed out. I end up bumping the chroma up and dropping the gamma a little trying to compensate but it's still not perfect. :NOTSURE: I also find that when you choose a position setting for the wall that crops it, it will always be a little out of focus. I'm running NVIDIA video cards; I wonder if ATI cards have the same results?
It's a 350. Wish I would have gotten the 455 Stage 1 but I had the high schooler working part time at the gas station, budget back then. I do like the cartoon...where'd you find that?
Congratulations on the promotions everyone :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: Some really great choices this month :CONGRAT:
You got a picture of that.
Of course...
i drive a piece of crap. i envy you rich folk.
Rich...not me. I work for a rental car company and the car is part of my compensation package. The nice thing is I'm able to trade for a new one when I run low on gas. I do own a couple though...A 85 GMC short bed pick up and a 72 Buick GrandSport. Bought both new and they are still in mint condition.
Sorry, 6.0 liter
No worse that me calling a GXP, a GTX.
I make a blind, you make a blind and lets see who is better.
Normally I would just lurk and eat popcorn but this struck a nerve. Butch, I have downloaded a few of your WB's and found that they were just too much like normal windows for me…install, delete. Why bother buying WindowBlinds to end up with the same look as original. Now on the other hand, I have 5 of I.R.'s WB's permanently loaded with back ups made after I added my finishing touches.
I put about 5,000 miles on it and today I went to the Pontiac dealer to look at the G8 GT. 5.7 liter V8 with 361 hp. I put in my order when the 09's come out in about 2 months.
I hear it's gonna' fly. One of the nice things is since the G8 is rear wheel drive, it does't have the nasty torque steer that the V8 GTX Grand Prix has. The G8 is a really nice car and I'm sure the V8 is gong to be even nicer. The only thing I dislike about this one is it didn't come with a XM rad
I wonder what ever became of this? If this is still on, I'll be happy to create a dream for it.
I'm suprized you didn't buy an Australian made car like a Holden. I'm not sure how well made they are but I've been driving a Holden made Pontiac G8 and I'm pleasantly suprized how nice it is.
All of the animations are turning out top notch...excellent job :CONGRAT:
The Dream is finished. I'll keep an eye on this thread for a time to upload notice. :)
While reading my private messages I noticed that I was running low on room. Since I had 40 out of 50 allowed, I decided to do a little cleaning and dump 10. Now I have 30 out of 100 allowed. Is this some kind of new math...kinda like the dollar to euro math? ;)
Every 3 weeks almost like clockwork this lockup happens to me.CFX uses 80-90% of my cpu and must be closed by the task manager
Let me know if this version fixes this for you. That was the reason why I uninstalled. Like you, I find it hard to complain about a free app.
Mine is an EVGA 8800GTS 320mb. As I indicated above, everything runs fine as long as I'm running the 169.25 drivers. I have trouble with DeskScapes with anything newer.
Im having the EXACT same problem and Stardock has done nothing for 2 whole weeks except ask for my dxdiag. Which I gave them. It's pissing me off because I paid for this thing, and it doesn't work properly.
Why would you blame Stardock for NVIDIA driver issues? You need to blame NVIDIA for the problems and ask them to fix their drivers. Personally, I've had nothing but trouble out of the newer NVIDIA drivers. I went back to 169 and every thing works as expected. I
Beta was superior to VHS.
I still have a beta player and believe it or not, it still works. I keep it around for the grand kids to use.
I remember the same type of posts when they stopped selling 98. This makes me wonder...why are people so resistant to change?
Just for the hell of it I did this one. It doesn't go with the black and white theme this suite has, so it won't be released, but it's kinda funny. What do ya'll think? ;) [link="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUGwDU12tOo"]Boxxi Box Dream[/link]
It's back up and running. :CONGRAT: Thank you for the prompt responce...I expected it to take much longer coming off the holiday weekend. :CONGRAT:
I know I'm not involved with this project, but I wondered if it would look cooler if the "flash" was at the top of the 100 and disappeared when in between the numbers?
I was thinking the same thing. The picture I was working from is too low of a resolution to use so I just whipped this up as a demo while waiting for someone to send me the real wall. I was thinking more of along the top of the 100 so it will be behind it the whole time.
