anyone know if it's still available as a download somewhere, You can get in in Impulse. It's the one marked "SkinStudio Professional"
It's also available in SDC under the same name.
mrochester, it sounds like you installed the Deskscapes 2.0 Preview version. You need to uninstall it and download and install [link="http://sdcbase.stardock.com/bounce/?url=https://stardock.cachefly.net/dream/StardockDeskScapes.exe"]DeskScapes 1.02[/link]. It's the free version for Vista Ultimate.
I don’t know about anyone else but I use them, occasionally.
No...not yet. When you purchase Deskscapes 2.0, you can use the ones in the gallery. There are around 800 to choose from and as a customer you have unlimited downloads. There are some really nice, slower ones to choose from so I am sure you will find something that suits your taste. :)
This is a nice suprize. Great picks this week, ID.
Zubaz...I am going to be uploading another dream and some Vista logons when the blind is uploaded, or would you prefer them to be uploaded now?
The most contributing factor for high CPU useage is what type of video the dream was made from, MPEG2 or WMV. Mpeg will normally have better quality for less CPU at the cost of larger file size. Then it breakes down to the bit rate, frames per second and resolution. Zub, you are correct in the sence that if a dream has alot of motion the author will need to bump the frame rate up to 30 to keep the loop from being as noticeable. That being the case it will usually use more CPU. But,
AV...I'll be your Vista Guinea Pig. ;)
169 drivers are from 12/07. Give them a shot, it may fix your problem.
community projects really bring people together i think... its a good feeling.....
Yes it is. I know that I was only involved for a short time but I feel honored to have been a part of it.
25 pages, and I found out that I have a JoeUser blog page that I didn't know about. I also see that a Carguy1 paid $75,000.00 for one of William Shatner's kidney stones.
Damn, I thought Joe Cocker was dead. ;)
:CONGRAT: Congratulations :CONGRAT:
This is a question for the forum Guru. Hey Andrew, how long does it show we are on line if we leave our browser open while in the forums? Also, since WinCustomize is on another server, does it show we are on line while browsing the Galleries?
Dream is uploaded. :CONGRAT:
The reason there would be a time lag is the time zone differences between the team members.
Zu in fishnets....hmmmmm......gotta have pics of that!!!
Are you really sure you want to see that? :NOTSURE:  ;)
Everyone could just upload and once they are approved we could PM you the link. You could then update your WB description with all the links. The only drawback is there will be a little bit of a time lag from the time that they are approved to the time you update your desription. Once every thing is up, I was planning on linking everyones work to the dream description as well.
Some Logons here with it in
That picture and many others on that page belong to Ron Kimball and can be found at his website. In my opinion, there is no better automotive photographer out there. I have had the pleasure of meeting him and he is one hell of a nice guy.
Sys restore uses a nice chunk (Which is why i don't use it)
You can go in and set the max size you want it to use. I used to never use it but decided to give it a shot in the early days of Vista. It has saved my tail hours of work on project files that went corrupt when the program I was using crashed so I have been using it ever since.
matthias frhlich...buy one the photo collage dreams designed buy Stardock. Also...you should'nt post walls that you did not design yourself and do not own the copyright to.
So we do this uniformly...do you want the title of the upload to read, One Hundred : A Tribute to Boxxi?
