sigh...the theme isnt for Vista
It may not be for Vista, but as this screen shows, it does looks really sweet on it.

The task bar looks nice on the left. The demo won't show the bars for me when I move the taskbar vertically. I'm running Vista if it matters. The wall looks nice and I like the way the gadgets look anchored to it. Looks like you've got a few more gadgets that have yet to be released too. All in all, this is looking sharper every time you post a screen. :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
I real hard pressed to bring myself to drink it, cos tap water around here tastes bloody awful, like it's full of chemicals...
Can you get a PUR water filter that hooks up at you tap in Oz? It will get rid of 99% of the chemicals that cause the nasty taste and smell. Well worth the $35.00 for the one I bought. The water comes out cleaner than that bottled water they sell in the stores.
I think you're just jealous cause you won't look this good in the uniform.
Damn if that doesn't look like Walter Cronkite, wonder if he lost his retirement in an email scam?
The placement of the subscriber logo is the compromise we had to make in this case.
You speak in the past tense. It appears to me the decision has been made.
Almost there...working on the wall right now...WB just needs animations and toolbar icons.

This is going to make one nice stocking stuffer.
Do you think it will be done by then? ;)
Alternate Setting, after reading your post I clearly see why you chose the personal icon that you did. It fits you perfectly.
Arrr matey, this bees not talk like a pirate day. That bees the 19th of September. Now ye walk the plank for da mestake! ;)
What am I missing here, WHY OH WHY should it not be a simple matter to create a link, hyperlink, to a file on my own pc, in any little program that supports hyperlinking?
You should be able to if you set your PC up as an FTP server. Unsure as to why you would go to that much trouble to do so though. :NOTSURE:
Looks like mine passed. I run Symantec Corporate edition. Fairly small footprint and does a good job at protecting
If you didn't purchase through the stardock.com/products/odnt/od-discount.asp page, then that's the reason the discount didn't apply. Your Store login is separate from your WC login...for security reasons. You may be able to contact to see if they can help in your situation. (That's for Object Desktop Subscribers that is... Not Wincustomize Subscribers, Wincustomize Subscriber discount applies to Master Skins).
Thank you for the reply. Stardock sales email
If it were the local NAMBLA chapter...yeah, it would kinda put a damper on my surfing experience.
I had to Google that to see what it was...thanks, I could have gone happily through life without knowing. It's going to take a lot of beer to kill that brain cell. ;) I would like to point out that there is already an ad that is visible to subscribers. The Wincustomize store ads. I propose using half of that space as a sponsorship logo/ad if this is the path that is tak
Here's another winter theme.
CarGuy1: So what's you'r hardware set then. According to the article you posted its hardware related, but it even took a while on my machine, which is a C2D e6750 OC'd 3.0.
AMD X2 5000 CPU, 2 Gigs ram, 8800gts 320meg video card
want falling snow? get greenreaper's realistic snowflakes dx object or one of martin's snowflake objects and you're in business. you can find them at the locales listed below
I tried those and while they are nice, they are not the same as a dream. Muckyman's first "Winters Here" snow looks much more realistic. Knowing how Stardock dreams are always top notch, I am hoping they will release something with a nice Christmas theme to it. :)
I think here is saying that the wall that comes with the blind does not show up in the wallpaper window within Windowblinds nor can he locate where it installs to if at all. I found that when installing suites, most of the time the wall install into the Windows directory. If installing a blind that has a wall, it's a crap shoot if it installs and where it installs to.
CarGuy1 I thought the same thing, when I checked at check out the discount applies against Master Skins
That would explain it. Oh well. HEY, STARDOCK DESIGNS...How about a Winter Wonderland Dream to go along with this. :D
C'mon englishfreak, I need your help. What program did you uninstall to stop the errors?
Why don't you Private Message him for the answer. He may be done with this thread so a PM may get your answer faster.
Thought I would pick this up so I bought the Magic suit and this one came with it. Did the discount for subscribers not apply to this purchase? Normally it applies when you check out but this charged me full price.
From what was presented they won't be ads, more in the style of logo placement.
Call it what you want, it's an ad.
Zoomba..comment 38
Missed that one, thanks for pointing it out. As long as Zoomba keeps his word, and I am sure he will, I have no problems with it. I've seen this done before and it turned out badly, hince my concern.
The question should be how many are we talking about? Once the community agrees to open the door to this and allows one to be posted, is this going to become the norm? One little ad can become 2, 2 turns into 4 and from there it can grow into more ads than content. Will there be a agreed upon limit to the amount per page? I not against one small ad but I do know what it can grow into.
WeatherBound...Thank you for the link. I haven't had this much fun in ages. :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
If I let mine sit for a while, some of them create thumbnails. The ones that don't are the 3 newest and the puddle. KiloKrash, thanks for the suggestion but deleating the thumbnails and refreshing them does nothing.
I'm not sure if this is the cause of the problem since before the final release of Dreamscene, all of the thumbnails worked on my system. After the final release of Dreamscene, none of mine have thumbnails.
This is from the Official MS Vista Ultimate website. Last week, we’ve made the Windows DreamScene Content Pack available to owners of Windows Ultimate. The Content Pack will only be downloadable to those who have already installed our Windows DreamScene extra or the DreamScene Preview that we released in February. After installing the Content Pack, you will see a few new goodies when changing the desktop in the Personalization Control Panel: As you can see, in additio
