Thanks for the responses. I probably got merely planetary bonuses, so it's good to know I don't have to do anything with them. And thanks for the heads up to know the radius of the repair platform. Since I mostly use auto placement, I didn't see the purple outline until I did myself after reading your response. Great game! I've stayed up waaaaay tooo late the last few nights (3am), so tonight I've got to get to bed earlier.

A couple of basic questions: phase inhibitors and repair platforms. in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

1) Are the effects of phase inhibitors cumulative? The reason I ask is I used auto placement, and the computer plopped one down right next to an existing inhibitor. So, I wonder if two covering the same area will double the effect and make enemy ships take longer to bug out. 2) How close does a ship/structure have to be to a repair platform to get repaired--in the same gravity well, on the same side of the planet, or right up next to it? During a battle it's hard to keep
