AngelEyez, you ARE contributing. You are posting messages and asking questions. The vast majority of people visiting the site on a regular basis don't say a word. So don't feel bad. Download all you want - that's why skinners post their skins, for people to use. They don't expect anything from you in return (well, maybe a few words of encouragement on the comments page). As for making skins, I've been with wincustomize since the start, and only now am I contibuting skins. Like you I did

Adni, I sent an e-mail to one of the admins last night soon after the skin was posted reporting the same. How anyone has the nerve to post a rip like that is beyond me. I hope this Arcila person has received a very blunt e-mail from the admin.

Originality in Skin Design in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I was wondering where originality ends in skin design. I've just started work on my latest skin, and, after many hours toil I have a taskbar. It's a 3d metallic effect thingy which took 10 layers in PSP to create. Apart from the colour, its turned out very similar to another skin I have by someone else. So much so I may decide to abandon it. So there's the question: if everyone skinning is using similar programs to acheive effects, and those effects are limited, how can anything be considered or

Is this a new trend? There seems to be a lot of 'bashing' going on lately. How anyone can moan about paying a nominal fee for downloading over 100Mb of stuff is astonishing. May I suggest, citizen nethell9, you find somewhere else to go as I find you offensive. Your manner is insulting to all contributors to this site, as well as the people who run it. I have no objection to people who are unable to make their own skins downloading as much as they wish, but you sir are out of order. BTW

Version 1.2 can be obtained via component manager if you have it, or via the Stardock website update facility. They will send you an e-mail with a link to all updated products you have registered.
