[quote who="Neil Banfield" reply="13" id="2511770"]I am sorry but we can't have discussion of cracking software for any reason on our forums. Regarding your issue, it sounds like there is some sort of missing runtime file OR something else on your machine is blocking the installation of Deskscapes when installed via Impulse. If you have dependency walker you could run it on deskscape.dll and deskscapes.dll (in the Deskscapes dir) and see if it reports any missing files.<
Ok so it's prefered making threaths instead of making suggestion or trying to help a customer. Great, now i'm really glad i bought software from stardock [e digicons]^_^[/e] If you can't see that this makes stardock a joke then i'm glad i only wasted 15 euro's on Deskscapes.
I already did. Removed everything. Manually remove all stardock registry keys i could find. Rebooted Installed the trial --> Works!! Again removed everything. Manually remove all stardock registry keys i could find. I reinstalled the trial and again it works perfectly. Difference? The installer !!
Contacted support and they send me a different key. I now have Deskscapes 3 as an option. It says it is installed but ofcourse it does not work. Funny thing is that the Trial Deskscapes 3 version works perfectly. I uninstalled the trial and reinstalled Deskscapes 3 from Impulse. Still refuses to work . I'm trying to get this to work since September. I even reinstalled Windows 7. Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 6.6 Your Windows Graphics E
I just did ... Thank you ... The key only works for Deskscapes 2. I can't use the same key for Deskscapes 3.
It won't accept my key ... So i can't register Deskscapes 3.
I bought Deskscapes for Windows 7 in Semptember 2009. Since the earlier versions do not work, i want to install Deskscape 3. It is impossible to install Deskscapes 3. The only option i have is Deskscape 2.95 which i can't download because it gives me an Error. How do i install Deskscapes 3 ? I was billed on 26-09-2009 for Deskscapes and should be able to install Deskscapes 3. Kind regards,
I'm having difficulties with installing Deskscapes 3. When i install Impulse and try to install Deskscapes it won't let me because it says my OS (Windows 7) is unsupported. I bought Deskscapes at the release time. Do i have to pay for Deskscapes 3 ?!

I would like to let Stardock know that the Beta for Windows 7 x64 does not work at all. The Icons disappear when ever i try to select a dream or make a change with Deskscapes. My system: Core I7, Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Dual Asus Nvidia EN9400GT Multimonitor setup. Kind regards
I fixed my problem by installing the latest Nvidia drivers. Nvidia finally fixed some severe problems and all my dreams are less than 10% now. Even the HD wmv are less than 20%! The dynamic dream 3D earth below 4% I'm using a dual monitor BTW.
I am running same stuff as you same gadgets (cept the all white one?) The white gadget and white bar is added by me because it contains information directly linked to me. I don't want those info on the net noticed you have hide inactive icons enabled in your notification area may be something in thier raising your CPU us
Well i asked the high cpu usage problem in another topic and every one said it was normal. CPU Usage topic So if you are right i do have a problem with CPU Usages. i'm also running a dual monitorsetup 1280x1024 x2
First off, Windows DreamScene does use the DWM to play video (meaning DirectX). That's why it uses so little CPU. If you think you could play high definition video as your desktop wallpaper in Windows 98 then I have a bridge to sell you. Secondly, Stardock DeskScapes adds the ability to have dynamic, 3D animated wallpapers that also uses the DWM (which uses DirectX). It will be including some with
When dreamscene was first announced i thought it was some sort of wallpaper that uses your 3d graphicscard to render the content. I'm dissapointed that's it's not Dreamscene is just a videoplaying on the background. Not really special i think. I had this working on Windows 98 a while back. Vista uses a new way to render the desktop and i'm puzzled that this isn't used. What where the
There is something wrong with my dreamscenes. Almost every dream i set as desktop uses 30~40% of CPU usage. The weird part is that explorer.exe is using the most cpu while logic would suggest that dwm.exe should use the most cpu usage, right!? A have a Intel Core2Duo E6700 @ 2.66 GHz, 4096MB Ram with a Nvidia Geforce 7900GTX. (i used different Nvidia drivers. Same result) I'm running dreamscene on Windows Vista x64 Ultimate When i maximize a window explorer goes to 0%
