Thank you for the replies. But crissy14: I've fixed two errors in your account info. Your error was most likely caused by Stardock Central. , now my SDC doesnt work at all. SC shows new version of windowblins and skin studio but I keep getting an installation error for both. I have current OD and WC subcriptions. Ive never encountered this error before and I can update other apps without any problem. Is anyone else getting this same error? Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Thanx Link

Earlier today I uploaded a screensaver (Autum Splendor)which was accepted into the screensavers library. I immediately updated it because there was something I wanted to add to it, but I haven't seen it back in the library nor in "my skins". Was it ultimately rejected? I'm confused. Where did it go? Thanks in advance.

Just a tip. Beacuse the new WB5 does not include a tray icon, I wanted faster access to changing skins/settings other than opening up display properties, so I put a shortcut to wbconfig.exe on my quicklaunch bar. Similarly, a shortcut can be put on the desktop or start menu.

Uninstall all your free/shareware versions first, then re-boot and start with a clean slate. If you have purchased stardock products then you were given a link in your email where you can download them from. Download and install. If you purchased OD, then you can download stardockcentral and the install all of your apps from within it.

My old version of windowblinds continues to show as being installed after updating to WB5. Do I need to uninstall it? Also while updating to V5, I was told archive of last version faild. Why is that?

Really? What do you use then? I dont use anything. But if I did want to catalog my items, I could very easily make a list in wordpad or make a template in(like you mentioned) access or word (on my computer). I dont like the idea of putting a lot of personal info on the internet for all to see
